Skyrar
Fifteen thousand soldiers in our army.
We rode with my uncle by the camp as soon as we came back from that disastrous meeting.

We were gathering with the commanders. Now that the sea was blocked, there was no way to reach the G.L. by sea.
Bruma is going to have their air forces in place, as well.
A group of mystics rushed inside the tent in the middle of the meeting.
- My king,- they said - you must accompany us right now. You too, my prince. -
We rode as fast as we could back to the castle. We followed the mystics to their workshop.
- we are so sorry, your magesty -
We were looking at the Plain of Souls. A map that shows a person's soul in the living plains. Sahara's soul was out.
I never imagined I could feel this much pain.
My uncle lost his temper completely. He rushed outside, bringing our land to its knees.
Everything was darkness. I couldn't think. I just walked behind him. The screaming, crying, and wailing filled the castle walls. I walked past the queen's unconscious body up the stairs to Sahara's room. I walked inside and closed the door behind me.
The room smelled like her. The memories of a life together swarmed me. She was the only person I had in this world.
After losing both of my parents, my uncle took me under his care. I was five years old, and Sahara was seven. She took care of me ever since that day.

I tried to reach for her, but I couldn't feel her anymore. I couldn't reach her bridge. I couldn't sense her. My knees buckled, and I landed on the floor. I couldn't protect her. I wasn't there to save her. She was gone, and we don't have a body to honor, to cry to.
I can't stop the tears, the pain from rising. I feel like my heart was ripped out of my body.
- stand up, boy - the king spoke. His voice cracked with every word.
I stood up and stared at his face. His eyes were a pool of blood; his face was red and puffed.
- we will have time to mourn tomorrow. Today, we get ready for war.-
I pulled him in an embrace and held him for a moment. When I pushed away, I stood tall and looked at him in the eyes
- To war. -
