VENUS
We could feel the change in the air as soon as we reached the border with Mirr.
The desert of Mirr is said to be cursed, and I could feel the darkness that lives in this land, deep in my bones.
- Open my window, Bram - I asked.
I took my hand out of the window and called to my power. The fog embraced us in seconds.
We drove for an hour in complete silence.
All this is crazy. We are risking our lives trying not to get killed. It's ironic.
And what if all this is a trap to kill us all together?
I looked at Sahara, my best friend, and I know I trust her with my life, just as everyone else in this van.
Growing up the way we did, we didn't have many opportunities to meet people and make friends.
When the Kingdoms united, we started traveling to visit each Kingdom for their festivities. That is how we got to know each other. My power awoken on one of those trips to Innanty.
Sahara and I, we went for a swim at the lake outside the castle. We were walking back when a boar came out of nowhere and charged in our direction. I thought we were going to die. We were two 13 years old girls.
Sahara didn't think twice. She jumped in front of me and called her power to stop the boar.
- Run V, I can't hold it for much longer- she said to me. Her eyes were completely white, like her hair. Blood was running from her nose, down to her lips and chin. In that moment of terror, I felt my power running through me. I could feel everything. The humidity in the air, the lighting, and the thunder. I was the storm.
My power striked the boar, turning it to ashes. With what felt like the crack of a whip, my wings grew in my back, bringing me to my knees, next to the unconscious body of Sahara.
It took me a moment to recover. The rain healed any wound I had, giving strength.
I took Sahara in my arms and flew us back to the castle.
That same night, I was sent back to Bruma. We didn't see each other until we met back in the University campus.

We drove for longer than we expected. It was hard to drive in the fog.
When we made it to the port, there was no ship.
- Pers.- Sahara said. - the ship only responds to a true son or daughter of the enchanted sea. Only the royal family of Hydros has that lineage. -
- What do I do? - said Perseus.
- Ask for passage. Do you know the old language? - he noded. He walked towards the edge of the deck and said
- PÉRASAMA-
From the fog, a ship with a golden sail came to us and dropped a ramp for us to climb in.
