Aarav's thoughts were consumed with Aadhya. The brief encounter at the office had ignited a burning desire within him to have her, to save her from the sadness that seemed to engulf her. He knew he had to tread carefully, to not scare her away, but he was determined.Aarav (thinking): "She deserves so much more. One day, I’ll show her the love she’s missing."

At home, Aadhya was battling her insecurities and craving Agastya’s affection. She decided to change her appearance, hoping to catch his eye. She wore a dress that hugged her body perfectly, something she had never dared to wear before. She even attempted to apply makeup, despite her lack of experience.
Aadhya (to herself): "Maybe this will make him notice me. Maybe he’ll love me again."
That night, she waited anxiously for Agastya to come home. When he didn’t find her waiting for him as usual, he was surprised. Entering the bedroom, he saw her in the dress. His reaction was not what she had hoped for.
Agastya: "What are you wearing? You look funny in that. Go change."
He couldn’t control his laughter, and Aadhya stood there, confusion and hurt filling her eyes.
Aadhya (shaken): "You... you don’t like it?"
Agastya (laughing harder): "Seriously, Aadhya, this doesn’t suit you at all. Just go change."
His laughter felt like daggers to her heart. She nodded silently, feeling her world shatter around her. The tears she had been holding back began to spill as she turned and walked to the bathroom. Inside, she harshly wiped off the makeup, tears streaming down her face.
Aadhya (whispering to herself): "I thought he’d appreciate it. I thought he’d love me."
Her sobs grew louder as she struggled to change out of the dress. Her reflection in the mirror looked back at her, broken and defeated.

After changing back into her usual clothes, Aadhya returned to the bedroom. Agastya was engrossed in his phone, as always. She sat beside him, her heart heavy with sorrow. Summoning the last of her strength, she called his name softly and hugged him.
Aadhya (voice trembling): "I miss you so much. I love you so much."
Agastya put down his phone and hugged her back, ruffling her hair gently. For the first time in months, Aadhya felt a semblance of peace and fell asleep in his arms, tears still wet on her cheeks.

**The Following Morning**
The next morning, Aadhya woke up early and admired Agastya’s face. She gently kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly, savoring the rare moment of closeness. As his phone buzzed, she saw a message from Aisha saying she would be waiting for him at a hotel. Aadhya decided to trust him and let the thought go, choosing to embrace the fleeting happiness.
---
Later that day, after Agastya had left, Aadhya couldn’t shake the feeling of doubt. She decided to go to the hotel herself. Upon arrival, she saw Agastya’s car and approached the reception, but before she could ask for directions, Yuvraj, Agastya’s secretary, stopped her.
Yuvraj: "What are you doing here, Aadhya?"
Aadhya: "I’m here to see my husband."
Yuvraj: "He’s already left."
Aadhya noticed the pity in Yuvraj’s eyes, feeling confused and uneasy. She insisted on asking the receptionist, but Yuvraj wouldn’t let her.
Aadhya: "Why don’t you want me to see him?"
Yuvraj remained silent, his eyes filled with sympathy. She repeated her question until he finally spoke.
Yuvraj: "He’s here with Aisha."
Aadhya: "I know. But why can’t I see him?"
He remained silent for a moment.
Yuvraj (sighing): "Aadhya, he’s cheating on you."
Aadhya felt the world tilt around her. She laughed, denying Yuvraj’s words.
Aadhya: "You’re lying. Agastya would never cheat on me."
Yuvraj: "I’m not lying."
Aadhya yelled, refusing to believe him. She pushed Yuvraj away and turned around, only to see Agastya. He seemed surprised but maintained a blank expression.
Agastya: "What are you doing here?"
Aadhya: "I came to see you."
Agastya forced a smile and suggested they go home together. She agreed, walking with him, her mind a whirlwind of emotions.
---
That night, while making dinner, Aadhya couldn’t stop thinking about Yuvraj’s words. They sounded too fake to her, but the seed of doubt had been planted. She trusted Agastya with her life and couldn’t imagine him betraying her. Yet, the nagging thoughts wouldn’t leave her mind.
Aadhya (thinking): "I trust him. I have to trust him. Agastya would never do such thing"
But deep down, the shadows of doubt were beginning to grow, threatening to overshadow her fragile sense of peace.
