Fantasy or Reality (A Joey Graceffa fan fiction)

Chapter 28

I woke up to being shaken, groaning because I was sound asleep. "Whaaaat?" I said grogily. "Come on, I have a surprise for you!" I heard Joey's voice. "This early?" I asked, still annoyed. "Mhmm!" I gave in, sitting up and then getting out of bed. I saw that Joey was already dressed and had a huge, proud smile. I looked at him confused. Why was he so happy? And why was he doing all this so early? I looked at the clock to see it was 9:45. Joey left the room, gesturing for me to get ready.

After a quick shower, I walked over to my new walk-in closet. I picked out dark wash shorts along with a Super Mario tee shirt. I changed into it and slipped on white strappy sandals. I went to the bathroom and blow dried my hair, pulling it into a messy bun. I loved the way my newly dip-dyed turquoise hair looked this way. I slipped on some string bracelets and Joey's promise ring.

I made my way downstairs where I found Joey in the kitchen along with my favorite breakfast. Fresh blueberry waffles with syrup and bacon on the side. I smiled up at him. I grabbed my food and we sat down at the counter.

"So what made you so happy today?" I asked between bites. "I don't know, just felt like treating you like the princess you are. To, re-spark our love." He said, more dramatic at the end, followed by a giggle. I laughed. "Why, is our love un-sparked?" I said, pretending to be shocked. "Well no, but I feel I should show you my love a little more." He said cutely, lightly tapping my nose with the blueberry that was on his fork, making me giggle.

"I have big plans for us today!" He said. "Oh? Like what?" I asked curiously. "You really think I would tell you that?" He asked, surprised. I rolled my eyes. "Should've known."

Joey started doing the dishes, so I went upstairs to check on my first video. I opened up my laptop and logged onto YouTube. What was before my eyes shocked me. I had 50,000 views!!! I know they were probably all Joey's fans, but hopefully I will develop some of my own. But still, that's a ton for a first video. I grabbed my laptop from the top and rushed downstairs.

"JOEY GUESS WHAT!!" I yelled, running to him. I shoved the laptop in his face, he was surprised, but read the screen. "AHHH!" He said, moving the laptop so he could see me. "Congrats!!" He said, taking the laptop and setting on the counter. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, running around the room. "Joey!! Put me down!" I said, pounding on his back. He just laughed. He finally set me down, his arms still around me. He leaned in and kissed me. I smiled, as he pulled away. His phone suddenly vibrated from the counter. His arms left my waist as he went over to answer, I guess it was a phone call.

"Hello?...Hey...Ok!....Yup, meet you there!" He hung up. "Who was that?" I asked. "Luke, he and a few other people are meeting us at-" he paused. He looked at me confused. "You really didn't think I was about to tell you, did you?" He asked. I slumped over, dissapointed. "Come on, let's go." Joey said, grabbing the car keys. I grabbed my sunglasses and over-the-shoulder purse, making sure I had my camera and money in there. Who knows what we'll be doing. We got in the car.

After about 20 minutes I was becoming eager. My knees bounced as I craned my neck, trying to look for signs as to where we were going. "Ok, you've lost your privileges. Close your eyes!" Joey said. After some complaining, I closed my eyes. We drove for about five more minutes, when the car stopped. Joey opened up my door and helped me out. "Open."

I opened my eyes. We were at Disney Land! I smiled hugely and looked up at Joey. "Come on let's go, we have to meet Luke and everyone else." I wasn't nervous, I had recently become friends with most of our fellow YouTubers like Cat, Whitney, and a few others.

We met up with Luke, Ingrid, Jason, Alex, Cat, Landon, and Nikki. We all greeted and decided to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride first. We rode a few more rides, stopped for food, walked around, etc. Joey's hand never left mine, even if we were talking with someone else. It showed that he really cared, and would never leave my side.

At the end of the day, we decided to stay and watch the fireworks above Cinderella's castle. We all chatted and vlogged, and then the show started. I watched the beautiful colors in awe, Joey's arm now around my waist. I rested my head on his shoulder, enjoying the moment. Joey kissed my head, still looking up at the show. It eventually ended, and we said goodbye to everyone. We walked out to the car in silence, still enjoying the night.

We drove home, talking about our day. We walked into our house and up the stairs. I went into the bathroom and changed into pajamas. I walked out yawning, I was so tired. Joey was already in bed, so I climbed in next to him. He wrapped his arms around me and pressed his lips against mine before lying his head on his pillow. I looked up at him in the darkness. "Thanks for the great day." I said, smiling. "Thanks for being a great girlfriend." he replied, I could tell he was smiling too. I giggled and nuzzled my head into his chest. I forgot to say one last thing.

"I love you, Joey."

"I love you too, Cora."

And with that, I was content, and fell asleep with a smile on my face.

What? Abby actually updated?! I know, it's a miracle! Lol, but as you guys know from the author's note I'm on a road trip, which is why I haven't updated. Sorry for this pretty short kinda filler chapter. I'm actually going to bed right after I post this. One last thing, we'd like to make a huge shoutout to natnat24!
