Alone but not entirely

"Hey, you're finally awake,"

I lifted my head up off of Ryan's chest and looked up at him to see him smiling at me.

"Hey, sorry I slept on you," I replied awkwardly.

"It's okay, it was actually quite comforting, I mean comfy," he said back, tracking his words.

"What's the time?" I asked

"Uh, pretty late, like 2pm," Ryan said, smiling

I sat up quickly in shock

"Oh my god, Ryan why did you stay so late?" I said, fumbling around for my phone. "I'm sure you all wanted to leave a while ago,"

"Hey y/n, calm down its okay, River is still asleep," he said, reassuring me "plus I get more time to chill with you," he smiled

I have never really spent time with guys, especially at my house. The second a guy would find out my occupation or hobbies, they would leave. It's pretty weird to have 3 guys in my house at once. My thoughts were interrupted by a hand pushing my hair out of my face.

"How are you feeling?" Ryan asked me softly

I wish I had the courage to say, "nervous, butterflies, in awe and crushing over you but instead

"Yeah, still weird but a little more energy," I stated. "I'll be fine by myself though," I reassured him

"Are you sure? I mean, you still look off a little" Ryan said, staring at me

"No, no, it will be fine, I'm a grown woman," I joked

"Please don't tell me you have work," Ryan asked

"Nah, I'm off now for a few days," I said, faking a smile

We sat there in silence, awkward but nice silence.

"Well, I should wake up River, we kinda need to get back on the road," Ryan said quietly

"Yeah, go, that's fine, I can text you" I said

Ryan nodded and we both walked out of my room. Ryan making his way into the spare room and me, walking into the kitchen.

As I stepped into the kitchen, I picked up a glass and filled it with water. Right as I went to sip the water, I heard a whisper

"Mine"

I couldn't tell where the whisper came from, but it shocked me so much I let out a small scream and dropped my glass, sending it onto the floor, shattering into pieces.

I immediately picked up paper towels and crouched down to soak up the water.

"Y/n what happened?" I heard Ryan's voice as three concerned boys came into the kitchen.

"Oh uh, I saw a spider" i lied. "Be careful there's glass everywhere" I said, picking up the dustpan and beginning to sweep up the glass.

"Here, let me help" Ryan said picking up pieces of glass and bringing the bin closer to me

"So I take it you're not a fan of spiders" Wyatt said beginning to laugh

"Nope" I replied

"Guys I'm going to warm up the car" River said "y/n thank you for last night. I'm sorry what happened but I'm glad you are okay." He added

I stood up and walked over to River giving him a quick hug.

"Yeah no thank you for everything, you guys have been amazing" I replied

"Well you have Ryan's number so reach out if you need anything, and thank you for letting us stay at your house" River smiled as he waved and walked out the front door.
