Do you remember when Libra, the God of Truth, Justice and Balance, joined the council, he was under so much pressure, he attempted suicide? I bet not. The Zodiacs and Libra’s family had kept it a secret then, until we managed to get our hands on one of his letters to Pisces.
Libra hopes that through the publication of one of the darkest moments of his life, you’ll be able to find some hope and know that you’re perfect the way you are.

Dear Pisces,
I know you and Scorpio are currently on vacation, but I don’t know if I can cope anymore. Ever since I became the God of Truth, Justice and Balance, it seems like everything I do isn’t enough or “good” in the eyes of the people, especially after the Judges of Justice came to order.
I’ve received tons of hate mail and they’re just getting worse. I know you said to just burn or ignore them, but I can’t help it! I guess it’s stupid to keep hoping that somewhere in that hate mail is another nice letter like the ones I used to receive when I was crowned a god.
Normally I won’t let myself get too affected by them but today was just…different…Somehow yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away. All this is just getting too much. It’s been months and I’m not sure if they’ll ever go away.
My life just seems to be going downhill. Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be. Even my girlfriend is affected and broke up with me during lunch earlier. She was so supportive of me when I left this morning but now she wouldn't say why.
My mum loves her and was hoping we could progress to marriage…Oh, how can I even break the news to her? Now I feel like I just need a place to hide away for a while, to gather my thoughts and recollect myself.
Sometimes I wonder why I’m a god when everything I do just does more harm than good. Why can’t I ever be enough? Would people notice if I’m even gone? I mean, why wouldn’t they? I caused them all this trouble, disrupted their comfortable lives and now I’m paying the price. I bet they’ve been wishing to see me gone for a while. I saw the letter one of the monarchs sent to you last week…
I don’t even know why I’m writing this letter to you…something just came over me to do it…but I guess this is goodbye…

Libra was at one of the darkest stages of his life. The older starlings may remember the amount of criticism he received after the *Judges of Justice were established. They felt that their freedom was being restricted and Libra was the first to be blamed, with a series of hate mail and complaints flooding his desk daily. This caused his mental health to take a turn for the worse, but, luckily, he had his fellow Zodiacs and family by his side to help him through it.
If you ever find yourself spiralling, do remember that there are other starlings out there who love you and need you. You’re not alone in this race and you’ll never be.
