"Get out of my bag!" said Lillie, taking her morgrem out of her travel bag, a number of mochi in his mouth.

Florian gave a small amused grunt, a stifled laugh at her expense as he watched the girl wrangle her fairies. They had spent all morning and afternoon at Kitakami hall, mostly just learning about the local culture. There were pots, some of which were cracked and repaired with gold. Others were pieces depicting all sorts of geometric shapes pieced together to depict ancient tales, some of which were inter-tribal wars between chiefs in different parts of Kitakami. Each one ruled by a chief intransigent in their ideals. Some sold slaves, others freed them. Sold persecuted so-called shamans while others allowed themselves to be ruled by them. The elders were more than happy to share the contents of ancient scripts long preserved regarding the fluctuations of norms, and the persisting ways of life in not just Mossui, but Kitakami as a whole.

Perrin had told them to meet her at her campsite in the Timeless Woods by dusk. So they had a lot of time to burn, so they decided to go up the mountain again for a bit. As they did they met an elder standing by the crystal pool. He talked about the ogre clan and how they left Mossui, migrating elsewhere after their leader, Muramasa, felt the ogre's disappearance. Considering said ogre was likely running having a picnic by colonnade hollow, Florian believed this Muramasa man was right. Where they went was anyone's guess, likely out to different parts of the world.

Lillie placed her hand in the sparkling waters, feeling the cold liquid as her hand skated along it. "It's such a beautiful pool. I wonder what the bottom is like."

"Old legends say it is bottomless," answered the elder. "We've had professional divers go down it before, none of them have confirmed it yet. I wonder if we'll ever get a definitive answer in my lifetime."

"Why don't you just send a drone down there?" asked Florian.

"We have, multiple times, they were all lost" said the elder. "I know there's a scientific reason behind it, whatever it may be, but I also like to think it's the spirits telling us we are prodding where we do not belong, and who are we to argue with nature?"

The two nodded. Best not tempt nature.

"So Florian, want to go back to the Chilling Waterhead again?" Lillie jokes. Florian rolled his eyes, "just get on koraidon already."

Later that day Florian found himself holding a small trainer workshop for all the little ones, and it didn't take long for Lillie to also be there. She always fought alongside others, so she asked if he could form her a team that helped in double battles. He had all sorts of accessible items and formed a neat fairy doubles team. The others were mostly just trainees, easy to impress with useful techniques, but in the end kids were kids, so they only ever seemed to care about moves that dealt damage.

"Are you sure you're okay with giving me your terrain extender?" asked Lillie.

"It's fine, I can always buy another one at a Delibirds Presents" said Florian as the workshop was dismissed, for the sunset was soon impending.

When the sun finally did begin to slowly set in the western horizon, the two made their way to the Timeless Woods, moving through the confluence and then through the gorge. There was a light drizzle, a sunshower actually, when they made their way to the old woodland. Perrin told them she already had her camp ready, with extra sleeping bags specifically. Taking her word for it, they informed the town head of their plans and were bid good luck as they traveled with only some of their belongings. There was a foggy night broadcasted for the next couple of nights, which was the perfect time for Perrin's hunt for this so-called bloodmoon beast.

When they got there, they saw Perrin just snapping photos of a poliwhirl who did all sorts of poses.

"Ooh yeah! That's a good one!" Perrin took some more, the poliwhirl was more than happy to receive all the attention. Perrin didn't even notice the two just watching her.
