The Coastal Biome was everything Lacey said it was. The calm sea flowed along as trainers and pokemon populated the beaches and grasslands. Tall trees with fruits on them while pearls could sometimes be found lying on the ground.

Biology class was all about regional forms, in the coastal biome's case, the Alolan forms. Considering Alola was a tropical region, it only made sense that the tropical Coastal Biome would be where the regional variants were housed. From there, everyone was tasked with capturing an Alolan regional form.

So Juliana caught an alolan grimer, while Florian caught an alolan exeggutor.

"Woah! You already caught some?" Lacey exclaimed.

"Yeah, they're everywhere" Florian shrugged, "there were a bunch of them right outside the classroom the moment we were dismissed."

"Yes but, actually catching them so easily. I can only wonder how strong you two really are."

"I think it takes a lot more than strength to catch a pokemon, although it does hold much weight," said Florian. "I have a friend back home, her name's Nemona. She's mighty strong but she sucks at catching pokemon. Like sucks sucks. Like-"

Juliana covers her brother's mouth, "yeah I think she gets the point, Flor"

Lacey giggled, "well. That's all there is for the tour. Save for the cafeteria. You know maybe I should bring you there next, that way you guys can get a taste of the meals around here, only-"

Juliana's phone would make a dinging noise, cutting Lacey off. It was a notification from the app which she finally downloaded halfway through class. She really ought to set it to buzzing mode later. "Huh, it says I'm being summoned to the Central Plaza."

"You are? By who?" Lacey skipped over, "oh, it's Carmine. For a second I thought it was someone important."

"Central Plaza... that's at the center right?"

Florian and Lacey blinked at Juliana.

"I'm joking! I'm joking, sheesh, tough crowd" Juliana nervously sweat. "I guess Flor and I can ride off to the central plaza. Do you want to come with, Lacey?"

Lacey shook her head and formed an X with her arms. "I think Carmine can handle your tour from here. The cafeteria is pretty much all that's left anyways, and I've got some club and biome things to handle."

"Oh, well, see ya!" Juliana smiled before running off, "come on, Flor! Let's go to the plaza!"

"Uh... Julie..." Florian pointed with this thumb towards the opposite direction, "the central plaza is that way."

Riding their respective all-terrain dragon bikes to the central plaza was easy enough. The biomes were marked with these walled borders and they all led to the same spot right at the heart of the terarium. The plaza itself was a simple walled structure with an elevated battlefield and a whole sort of benches and other things. It was populated with students resting up, organizing among themselves how to grind the BBQs, or just trying to figure out how to do their projects.

"Oh Amarys. Most high Amarys."

"There's this girl in the Coastal Biome who made me this cute Galarica cuff."

"What's up, my minun?"

"Do you think a wailord would make a nice fit for the coastal biome?"

Making her way up the ramp, Juliana saw Carmine talking with another girl before noticing her. The Kitakamite smiled before running over to her, "aha! So you're here. You finally became part of the student exchange program."
