#2 First day

You haven't stopped thinking about that really embarrassing interaction with the Co owner william yesterday it kept you up most of the night.

You're about to go into work today... Let's hope things aren't as bad this time...

You get dressed into your casual clothes.. he said he was going to hand you a uniform anyway..

You get into your car and set off

As you step out of your car and look at the restaurant, it feels even more creepy at 8am it's too quiet

You step into the restaurant to be greeted with silence... am I here too early...

You began to walk to Williams office..

A little light shining in the dim lit hall from his office.. your hands begin to feel a little sweaty, but you try and shake off the feeling..

You walk into his office feeling more confident about today..

He looks up at you with a smile

"Hello, love." You forgot how British he sounds

Darling, your face almost felt like it was growing red..

"Hi, you said you had a uniform for me?"

It's like a light went off above his head "ah yes.." he opens his draw and pats it on the table "I mean you already look like you've got the pants so you can just wear the shirt and" He Gives you name badge you can clip onto your uniform

"ah thanks" You smile, feeling a little excitement run through you as you pick up the uniform

"I think you'll suit the uniform."

You pretend that you didn't hear him say that feeling red in the face again
..

He likes to mess with you...
You know that now..

You look at him "yeah not too bad yourself afton." You say crossing your arms

He laughs, rubbing his hands through his hair. "Why? Thank you, darling. I'll show you to the staff
bathroom so you can get changed"

You make your way over to the staff bathroom and get changed..

You look at yourself in the mirror. The uniform wasn't all bad. It wasn't something you're used to. it's just a shirt and a name tag... you smile and leave the bathroom, placing your bag in the staff room

Seeing william in the corner of your eye looking you up and down... you turn around

"Take a picture it will last longer,"

He tilts his head for a moment he looks like he is thinking of reaching for his phone...

He then chuckles, and you feel all the nerves in your body disappear, knowing this guy can take a joke

"Before we go on this tour, I should probably give you the contact number for the restaurant just in case you need days off anything like that..?"

"Is that your way of asking for my number?" You giggle

He winks, waiting for your phone

You pass him your phone, and he begins typing in the number

You feel a hint of red across your cheeks as he types on your phone

"There, Shall I give you a tour?" He hands back your phone

You nod and follow him

"And this is the main party room... any questions?"

"Uhm, no, I think I got it... I do think I'll still get lost, though this place is still a maze. "

He shrugs. "You'll get the hang of it eventually, love."

Another girl walks into the restaurant with her bag on her arm, smiling away she looks over to you and william, and a confused look appears on her face

William taps your shoulder. "Have fun love see you later," He says, walking off

"Wa-" You get interuped

"Heyyy!! Are you new!"

You turn around and see the girl standing in front of you with a smile

"Uh ye-"

"The names, Steph!" She gives you a side hug, interrupting you again

You smile awkwardly

"I'm y/n"

"I'm so glad there's another gal on board! I'm so sick of all the boys!... hey...." She leans in and whispers

"Where you just with afton?"

You raise an eyebrow. "Yes?"

She gasps "really! My oh my, he never comes out of his office. He's always grumpy and doesn't talk to any of us!" she says with a little texas accent coming through...

"Really, he seems nice?" You say a little confused as the man you've just had a tour with seemed more than fine

She scoffs, "Oh please! Have you got him mixed up with Henry..."

You didn't even notice, but another person had walked over "yeah Williams not really a people's person... hi, sorry I couldn't help but overhear yall. "

"Oh hi jay,"

He smiles "hi steph and?"

"Jay, this is y/n, y/n this is jay,"

"Hi," you smile and continue what you were saying. "Uh... I met Henry yesterday he was lovely.. and william has been alright too.."

Jay and steph look at each other in disbelief

Jay starts walking off "Well anyway nice chat. I've gotta get things up and running in the kitchen!"

Steph sighs "dammit I wanted kitchen! I'm gonna go put my bag away. Can you help me set our tables?" She says with a warm smile

"Yeah," you stand awkwardly waiting

Jay shouts over from the kitchen window. "Those party hats in that box just start placing them on the tables, let steph handle the rest!"

You nod and head to set out the hats..

Your first day was over faster than you knew it..

You had made 2 work friends, jay and steph, who seem to be nice enough to help you out. You haven't met all the staff members yet...

but from what you've heard about william, I confused you the most.

Steph and jay both seemed pretty confident that he's not a nice guy... but from the time you've had with him, he's been nice...

You throw yourself onto your couch and pick up your phone, seeing 2 new contacts

"Freddys"

And

"William"

You laugh to yourself that cheeky bitch...
