You stared at your screen, scanning through an old article... how did you not know this...
I mean, you moved here 3 months ago, and this is old news.....
It's just weird...
You instantly feel a wave of realisation that you might have insulted william without realising...
no one applies there due to this... your stomach sank...shiiit I hope he doesn't think I'm being bitch...
You close the article and head to bed hopefully he doesn't think too much into this the way you have... you'll apologise in the morning...

Your up and ready waiting for william to pick you up..
Your first week of work is almost over and you can't wait for this weekend.
William pulls up and beeps his horn
You rush out and jump into his car "morning."
"Morning." He smiles
You don't know how to even start the topic on the missing children. You just sit awkwardly next to him... I mean, it's his business. You're talking about it might upset him
... you decide not to mention it and forget it even happened...
"Something on your mind, love, your awfully quiet?"
"No, no, I'm just tired." You smile
"Alright."
You arrive at work quicker than expected
You both get out the car and head in..
Henry is stood looking quite panicked. "William good your here. Hi y/n"
"What?" He says bluntly..
"We've been asked to do a party today.. Uh it's for the Johnsons"
Williams eyes light up "Oh really?"
"Who's the Johnsons..?" You ask in-between them
Henry rubs his head "one of the most well known names in this town... they pretty much run things around here if this doesn't go perfect we are over..."
William turns to you "If this doesn't go how it's planned the johnsons will find a way to shut us down. They have been on us for the past few years"
Henry stars pacing up and down "they've fully booked the entire restaurant..."
"Okay okay... I can get jay to start things up in the kitchen steph can be on tables. Everything is already cleaned so what else needs doing?"
Henry sighs... "They will be here in a few hours so we need to get everything working. Get tom to do a sound check ellen needs to make sure the arcade machines are all working and the tickets are stocked up."

An hour into getting set up, your feeling a little overwhelmed.
The sound checks, the smell of food, steph arguing with other employees over what goes where ...
You stumble your way outside to see william smoking in his usual place..
He turns around "you alright love?"
You walk up to him shaking your head "can I have some of that?"
He passes you his cigarette and you take a long inhale
He stares at you as you do it with a little smirk forming his hand slowly raises and he grabs your chin tilting it upwards "you really needed that"
You exhale and the smoke hits william you can see a smile form on his face and your face goes red
