#13 stephs birthday

My shift had come to an end... everything that had happened yesterday felt like a blur it didn't go how you wanted it to, but you wanted to forget about it... He's probably left town by now anyway

Steph had been super excited all day because she knew jay had planned a party...

So much for the surprise..

You had asked william to come with you, and He didn't argue against it.
He had dropped you off home, and you were getting ready he should be back here soon to take you both to Jay's.

You put on a similar dress to your date just this was more danceable..not as long and restrictive and some makeup to go with it.. you started to feel excited it was going to be a good night!

Your doorbell rang, and you answered to see william in his usual smart clothing but his same black shirt again like the one he wore on the date you giggle. "Do you like that shirt?"

"What come on, you love it?" He says, fixing his sleeve."You look lovely, darling. "

"Oh wait!" You turned around to grab your pink gift bag with some wine in it for steph

"Can't forget this!"

"Are you ready?" William smiles, and you nod, getting into your taxi

Once you were in the car, william put his hand over yours. "I got you something, I was going to save it for a better time, but you look gorgeous,"

You feel your face heat up

He hands you a little black box. You opened it to see a lovely necklace with little diamonds spread on it.. "Oh My- will- this is- how do I even thank you for this?"

He grabs your face and kisses you. "No need to, I saw it and knew it would look lovely around your neck. Want me to help put it on?"

You nodded and turned around

Williams hands carefully moved your hair, putting the necklace around your neck. "Here you go."

You grabbed your little mirror out of your bag. "It's amazing... wow.. i- i dont know what to say. "

He smiles, sliding his hand on your thigh.."dont need to say anything. Just sit there and look pretty."

You laugh. "Thank you.."

Not long after that , you arrived, and music was blasting out the windows lights flashing it was like a real house party...

"This reminds me of those college parties I never attended." William laughs

You shrug "haha really? You seem like the party type, " you say sarcasticly and make your way into the house

Too many people was your instant thought you saw steph and ran up to her, giving her a hug. "Happy birthday, I hope you like this." You passed her the gift, and her face lights up

"Oh y/n, it's perfect. im going to get a glass right now!!! Do you want some?"

You shake your head. "You enjoy it! I'm having what william is having!"

Steph winks "wait he's here?"

You're both shouting over the music. "Yes!"

Before she could react, a swarm of people carried her away. "STEPH STEPH STEPH!!"

you giggle backing up into william

He holds your arms. "So should we get a drink?"

You shake your head. "Yes."
