#16 it's him

You've been investigating for hours and felt as if you were getting nowhere

You decided to go back to do your actual work... which you should've been doing anyway.. oops

You had left the back room and got into the main room, your eyes fully adjusting to how bright it all is compared to back there

Steph is running up to you. "There you are, missy! Henry's been looking for you!"

Henry..? You felt your nerves bounce back. What does he want

"He's waiting in his office." she flashes you a polite smile while walking away, going back to her work.

You shook off the nervousness feeling and began to walk to his office "thanks steph see you in a minute,"

You get to Henry's office and knock on the door

You hear his cheerful voice on the other side. "Come in."

You walked in to see him on his computer..

"Ah y/n, come in, sit down. How you doing,"

You smiled. "im okay."

"Well rested?" He smiled

"I guess, haha."

Henry clears his throat and grabs papers out from his desk giving a more of a serious look towards you "right, the other night you had the night shift, dont worry this is something we do with all our employees" He slides over a paper

"This is just a safety check.. dont worry. "

You smiled, looking down at the paper. "Oh, okay, thanks."

"Here's a pen. I'll let you do that. I'll just go back to doing my work slide it back over when you're done,"

You started to scribble some answers on the paper... all your mind could think back to was the yellow rabbit... safety check... yeah.. this whole restaurant needs one..

/// After scribbling your answers, you slid your paper back over to Henry

"Here you go,"

He smiles back at you "Oh thank you, Oh and y/n, how are you finding the job I haven't actually been able to speak to you much and I'm very sorry I've been very busy with everything"

"It's been good, steph, jay is very nice. We get on well, and Williams has been a good help."

Henry chuckles. "I'm glad you're liking it."

You stand up, and a glimpse of something catches your eye. A picture above Henry's head...

You stared at it in disbelief... a yellow rabbit next to a golden bear..

Henry's head turned around to see what you were looking at. "You alright?"

He adjusted his glasses and stood up, grabbing the picture frame. "Aha, oh, are you looking at this?"

You nodded, looking at the picture

"Ahh, the good old days, this is when me and william started the business.."

You felt your stomach drop as Henry showed you the picture and your eyes fully able to make out the whole image

You knew Henry's face when you saw it but you couldn't believe it...

You pointed at the yellow rabbit, feeling your hand begin to shake. "That's william..?"

He chuckled. "Sure is! God, I hated those old suits..."

"What happened to them? Do you still have them? " You felt yourself tense up at the question you already knew the answer..

Henry shakes his head. "we got rid of them after Williams accident.."

"Accident?" You looked up at Henry..

"He doesn't like talking about it much, but them suits had springlocks functionality that was the only way to wear them but also insert an endoskeleton. And they set off one day.." He shakes his head."It was awful... and he's left with those scars..."
He puts the picture back on the shelf
"Sorry aha anyway you okay? It looks like you've seen a ghost."

Your mind started to scramble... William... no, it couldn't be... it can't be him...

... it isn't him...

It is him... your memories flooded back to you...

His scars... it weirdly made sense..

What the hell...

You walked out of Henry's office, not saying a word... you felt like your world was crumbling in front of you..

You needed to get out of here...

You need to leave.

You ran out of the pizzeria... you're not getting that lift with william, not now. You can't hide the fear you're feeling....

You need to run home.
