Another day over at work, you were outside talking to Jay while waiting for william
"It's stephs birthday in a couple of days. we are throwing a surprise party at my place if you want to come, oh and of course, bring your plus one."
You giggle "yeah sure that would be lovely.."
He smiles "Alright I better go catch this bus."
"Alright, see you tomorrow!" You watch him run off and smile to yourself
A hand pats your shoulder, making you jump
"Ah-.. woah your way to quiet. " You let out a nervous laugh seeing william Tower over you
"You ready?" He smiles
"Yeah!"

You arrived at his house and got comfy in his living room
"What would you like to eat tonight?" He asked you to take his coat off
"Umm, I'm not sure... surprise me?"
"Alright.." he smirked "Oh if you want to watch TV, the remote should be around here somewhere, "
You smiled..
An hour had passed, and you could smell the food being prepared, and it was making you hungry..
You got up and headed towards the kitchen..
You saw william with his sleeves rolled up hyperfocused on whatever he was doing...
You stared at him in awe. It felt nice having someone care for you...
"Take a picture it will last longer.." His words snapped you out of your thoughts and made you laugh
"Heyyy, maybe I will." You walk over to the counter, "so what is it?"
"Pasta, my aunts recipe, i hope I nailed it." He smiles, grabbing your plate and taking you to the table.
You follow him, and he pulls out your chain to sit you down. "My lady," He over exaggerated his accent..
You looked down at your food, you were so hungry "mm this looks really good!"
He walks over with glasses and his food he sits himself down and pours you both drinks..
"Go on, dig in!" He says, smiling
You took a bite, and oh my, it was lovely. "Wow!" You said with your mouth full
"This is great!"
He smiles and begins to taste his
"I'm glad you like it, love."
"Like it? I love it this is the best meal I've had in weeks!"
Considering you lived alone and didn't cook too often because you either burnt your food or just straight up ruined it...
"Why's that? Do you not cook?"
You felt a little embarrassed saying it Outloud "no no ... I do. I just... aha, I'm not very good.."
He takes a sip of his drink. "So what do you do on the kitchen shifts?"
"I usually just do the dishes."
William shakes his head and laughs. "im going to teach you."
You shake your head. "ahah no no no no.. I dont think so. "
He gives you that serious look again.... the look that says you will do what I say sometimes you can't tell if he's joking..
"Okay, fine..."
His look breaks into a smile. "Great.. you love spending time with me. "
You roll your eyes and shrug "mmm"
He looks offended. "y/n... come on.. really.." he says in the most sarcastic tone ever..
"Mmmmmmm," you continue
He rolls his eyes, and you give in "you're not all bad."
He laughs. "I guess I'm not."

After finishing the meal you both made your way into the living room it didnt take you both long to get familiar with eachoher again You can't keep your hands off eachother...The film played in the background which you both weren't even paying attention to.. and then you both started to talk
"Henry's more like the face where I'm like the guy in the back...which I wouldn't have it any other way really he's good with the kids and the adults.. where I just like sticking to what I know. "
You look at him more seriously, "but you're okay with me?"
His grin widens, holding your chin "your easy to talk to your not out to get me."
You feel your heart flutter, but the words stick with you "out to get me...?" What does he mean ...
William stands up. "I'm going to go freshen up, love. you need anything?"
"No, I should be fine,"
He walks out of the room, and a sigh leaves your chest, focusing back onto the movie, which you had no idea what was happening.
Your phone buzzes it must be steph or jay

Joe - "Your parents told me you had fallen out. Can we meet up and talk..."
That twist in your chest had appeared again... and you felt your eyes begin to swell

You didn't really have anything to say to Joe, but a part of you held out some sort of hope that he would apologise.
"Meet where."
Joe is sending you a nearby cafe to meet at.
William, who was behind you, spoke up. "Who are you meeting with..?"
You jumped. "You've got to stop doing that.."
"Who are you meeting.." he asked you again, but this time felt less friendly... you've never told william about Joe... you didn't want to.
"It's.. It's my ex." You aren't a liar, though, either.
He sits down. "What does he want?"
"To speak to me, I don't know what over." You sigh and put your phone away
"Do you want me to come with you?" His tone slightly changed.. he doesn't know about Joe.. but you could tell he knew something was off..
"No. no, I'll be okay. we are heading to a local cafe, and I'll be fine. I'll see him tomorrow.."
His gaze softens. "Okay."
You felt a slight awkwardness talking about him...
"I'm sorry.."
He looks at you. "Don't be love. We all have problems. Joe is just one of them. "
You laugh at his words...
"Yeah, he's a problem, Alright..."
