The Way I Used To Be ❤🔥

The meeting 😳

It was the racing day ;

The pit stop was filled with the mechanics and Payu's friends all busy doing some kind of works like testing the bike, changing tires and tuning the bike 

Allen : Boss...the bike is in condition everything seems good.And we have increased the HP .Go rock it man 

Boss : Yah i'm all ready for it 

Jimmy : Where is your racing suit 

Boss : I'm about to go and wear it , 

Payu went inside the to change into racing suit by the time he came back there was only a few time till the race starts so everyone was busy 

In between the rush someone handed payu a bottle of water ,he didn't check further because of the chaos going on ,he drank some water and went to the racing track 

Everyone started cheering Payu's name as he entered the racing track ,he was full of confidence ,his only tension was Nik pulling out some of his dirty tricks to win the race .But as his mechanic crew and himself have double checked the bike carefully he was sure the bike is in condition 

Nik also came and stood near his Bike .Both gave glances at each other , beside seeing the urge to win the race payu noticed a wiked smirk on Nik's face which made him confused .To avoid other eye contacts boss Shut the helmet glass with a little more force than necessary 

With a deep breath, they climbed onto their bikes, the familiar roar of the engines revving them up. Nik settled into his Yamaha R6, while Boss straddled his Kawasaki Ninja. The air was electric with tension as they made their way to the starting grid.

The lights flashed green, and the two riders shot off like bullets, their bikes accelerating with incredible force. They jostled for position, their skills on full display. Nik took the lead, his Yamaha surging forward, but Boss was hot on his heels.

As they entered the final lap, Boss's  confidence grew. He was the better rider as always, and he knew it. 

Everyone started cheering for Boss and he could hear his friends telling him to keep going like that through the ear piece .

But fate had other plans or it will be better to say that Nik had other plans .The least did Boss knew that Nik had spiked Boss's drink which he drank before entering the track 

Boss's vision started getting blury and the whole place felt revolving ,

Boss : Umm...Guys ..I'm feeling ...Oh no shit ...shit ....!!

He tried to manage his balance but due to the high speed and the dizziness made Boss's bike lost traction, and he crashed into the barriers at high speed.

The crowd gasped in horror as Nik whizzed past, taking the lead. He crossed the finish line, his arms raised in triumph, but his celebration was muted.

Quickly the emergency medical team arrived at the accident spot and started checking on Boss who was still feeling dizzy and laying there with less consiousness ,but when one of the medical team member touched boss's knee he screamed in pain 

That's when they noticed that his knee was completly twisted and it was causing him a severe pain they quickly changed him to a stretcher and within minutes to the ambulance quickly taking him to the best hopital nearby

Boss's friends followed him there 

At the hospital ;

Rain was in his cabin ,going through some of the X-Ray reports and suddenly the sound of sirens pierced the air 

After some minutes nurse Joe came to rain's cabin her face eched with urgency 

Joe : Dr.Rain we need you !We've got a patient coming in from the racingtrack 

Rain looked up from the x-ray chart and his  face changed to concern when he heard it was from the racing track ,he narrowed his eyes with concern "What's the situation?" 

He raised from the chair pulling out his essential kit as Joe explained to him the situation 

Joe : It's bad ,doctor.He was involved in high speed collition during the last lap ,He's got twisted knee and a possible break .The medics on the scene report severe pain and swelling. No head injury or any other  injuries but the patient is dizzy and other doctors are checking the reason for that 

Rain during the case studying he saw the patients name was Payu and that brought back some of his old memories but he quickly pushed them aside and focused  by the time he reached the emergency bay other doctors and nurses were doing things like connecting the IV Drip some of them checking the pulse rate

He quickly springs into action and checked his knees and thats when he saw the patient's face it was Payu ,his heart skipped a beat when he saw him in the condition ,lot of thoughts came into his mind but he ignored them and started barking orders to the medical team "Get me an X-ray stat Now!!"

Seeing his face with pain he quickly ordered the nurses"We need to manage the pain ,get some morphins " 

As the medical team continue with the checks one of the doctor's said "He was drugged "

Rain's face went pale when he heard that because he know the competition in this field and the dirty ways people use to win the race .He looked at Payu who was now unconsious with a bit of sympothy in his eyes 

After getting the x-ray reports and others reports it was confirmed that Payu has a twisted knee and a broken hand 

Finally after lots of efforts the medical team succeded to stabilize his knee preparing him for the surgery that will follow and his broken hand .

The surgery was handled by surgeons with Rain's assistance involved.The surgery was a success 

After the surgery rain talked to his friends and family consoling them that everything is good now .

Payu was taken to the the ICU after the surgery for 24 hours he was in observation and then he was shifted to the room .

When he came to consiousness his friends and family were there ,he cleared his throat which was sore from all the medicines realising what all happened he finally spoke 

"That asshole won "

Allen : It's ok everyone knows that something was wrong with his victory so that doesn't count as a real victory you relax we will handle this 

Payu : Whatever the lose is a lose 

Payu was laying on the hospital bed ,leaning against some pillows that's when rain knocked on the door and entered inside 

Payu was confused at first but when he clearly scanned rain's face his eyes widen but rain kept a straight face 

Rain : Hi I'm Dr.Rain how are you feeling now !!

Payu paused for a second before responding ,his eyes wide with surprise 

Payu : Noeul !!😳
