reconection

I rang the doorbell at Jennie's house so many times and she didn't respond.
"I really need a response Jennie It's pouring out here!!" I yelled
We had still been in an argument since the time I stood her up. Almost 2 and a half weeks ago!
Finally, footsteps. The door slowly opened to reveal her mother.
"Oh! Hi Y/n, how are you doing? Oh- you're soaking! C'mon in! " she said cheerfully.
"I'm here to see Jennie, we haven't talked in a while... " I said while stepping into the house out of the rain.
"Ah yes, she's in her room. Sorry I kept you waiting by the way! "
"It's alright, thank you! " I said as I took off my shoes and ran up to her room.
I opened her door and saw her lying on her back on the bed, with her phone help above her face and with headphones, Not noticing my presence.
"JENIIIIIEE" I yelled and she jumped and looked at me with cold eyes.
''helloooo how are you???'' I said as I plopped down onto the bed. She didn't reply and kept staring at her phone.
"I'm soryyy!! I got locked in the janitors closet" I pretended to sob as I dramatically wiped a fake tear off my face.
I saw a small smile on her face and she looked up.
"Tell me what's happening between you and sunghoon, I know there's something I saw him drag you into there. "
I smiled, "I won't pretend there's nothing, it's just a question if you'll believe me or
not. "
"Go on then" she said and I explained everything.
"Yeahhhh that's made up."
I rolled my eyes
"Told you, you wouldn't believe me. ''
"Don't worry I'm joking haha" she replied
"So if you knew why did you ignore me and why did you look as if you had cried? "
"I lost my wallet and I was panicking. That's why I cried that day, but as for the ignoring part: I'm just stubborn and you did stand me up! "
"Ugh what a drama queen.. "
I felt a lot lighter now I had reconciled with my friend.
"I have a problem though, he's really cold when we're in school... " I said asking for advice.
"You've only been dating for like a 3 weeks. Besides he's literally known as the ice prince! "
"You're right. I'll give it some time and hopefully soon we'll be public. "

It's been about one month we've been going out now, it's almost the end of winter.
Since it was the weekend and raining, I stayed home. I hear the doorbell ring and went to answer it. Sunghoon was standing, soaking.
"Hi y/n it's my 18th birthday today I was wondering if you'd want to hang out with me today. "
"Sure! Why didn't you tell me earlier now I feel bad I don't have a gift! But cmon in! " I said.
"Its alright" he replied
I helped him dry his hair and gave him some of my baggiest clothes and lucky for us, they fit just enough.
We spent some time playing board games and when we got bored we decided to bake a cake for his special day obviously.

"Ok first things first we need to get the ingredients and materials out for the cake.'' I stated.
Sunghoon nodded and walked to the fridge to get eggs, milk and butter while I got sugar, flour and vanilla extract from the cupboard. We got a bowl, a measuring cup, weighing scale and a cake tin.
" we need to preheat the oven at 180°c " I added.
I looked back at him and he blew flour in my face, leaving specks of white all around my nose and mouth.
"Aggh what the heck! " I laughed and chucked flour in his face as revenge and we both burst out laughing from how silly we looked.

We put the cake in the oven and I said:
"Ok now we just need to wait till the cake is cooked. It should take around 20 minutes.

20 minutes later; the timer rang and we went to get the cake out before it burned.
" ooh it looks amazing! " sunghoon cheered.
"Now we decorate it! " I instructed.

"No, no we need to put the cream on that side! "
"You see, that's where I have to disagree with you! " sunghoon argued and snatched the piping bag from my hand agressively causing it to spit cream everywhere.
"Oops... " he whispered.
I looked at him unamused
"This wouldn't have happened if you put the cream in where I told you to put it! " I hissed.
"Well how was I supposed to know?! It's my birthday anyway! " we whispered back and looked at me with puppy eyes and then we both started cleaning.

--time skip--

When we cleaned the kitchen and the cake was ready it looked a bit wonkey, the cream had splattered in all sorts of random spots from the accident, and we tried to fix it my putting sprinkles but it looked a little bit more demented.

"Well, I have an excuse, I'm a professional skater not cake decorator... What's your excuse?" He joked.
"Uhh I'm a professional editor and horse ridder?.. " I laughed slightly.

We ate the cake and laughed about random stuff until he had to leave. The next day we had school so we both had to get ready and sleep early.
We said our goodbyes and he left. I got ready for bed and fell asleep rather quickly.

The next day, at school I stayed by Jennie's side until the end of class, and I went home. But when I reached my bed I got a frantic call from Sunghoon.

"Y/N YOU'VE GOT TO HIDE! MY PARENTS HAVE TRACKED ME DOWN WHEN THEY SAW ME SKATING ON TV THEY'RE JEALOUS I'VE GOT A DECENT LIFE NOT ON THE RUN ANYMORE! THEY JUST CALLED ME I'M GOING TO MEET UP WITH THEM! THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT YOU AND ARE GOING TO HURT YOU IF I DON'T RETURN TO THEM AND GIVE THEM ALL MY MONEY AND HELP COMMIT CRIMES WITH THEM! Y/N IT'S EITHER I BECOME A CRIMINAL AND BE ON THE RUN WITH THEM AGAIN AND NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN OR THEY HURT YOU AND I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!"
