Karishma shook her head, unable to find the words for a moment as they sat to have their dinner together.....She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself as she said....i am fine, Haseena, it's just... I never imagined this moment would actually come true, i used to dream about someone waiting for me at the dinner table, and now you're here.
Haseena's eyes softened with understanding and love, she reached out, taking Karishma's hand in hers and replied.....I am here, and i always will be, right here , will wait for you in this table to have our meal together.
Karishma noded with greatful smile and then they completed their dinner talking their heart out with each other.
They had fallen asleep in each other's arms, their cuddle position giving them comfort, but in the middle of the night, Karishma stirred from her sleep in confusion as she reached out to the empty space beside her, haseena wasn’t there, her sleepy mind struggled to process the absence of Haseena from their bed, just as she was about to call her name , she heard the sound of running water coming from the bathroom.
In the warm dim light of the room, haseena emerged from the washroom after few minutes, her face showing signs of discomfort, as she walked out, she spotted Karishma sitting on the mattress, rubbing her eyes slightly, looking utterly grumpy yet undeniably cute with her hair tousled, the sight of her wife in such a state made Haseena smile softly, but the smile quickly faded as a cramp surged through her abdomen.
Karishma’s eyes immediately caught the discomfort in her wife's face and the way haseena was holding herself, she knew......without a word, she instantly stood up and walked over to the drawer, as she pulled out a hot water bag, she then headed toward the kitchen space......haseena watched her silently, she didn’t need to say anything, karishma had already understood, it was one of the things haseena adored about her, karishma’s ability to sense what she needed without having to voice it.
Come here,..... Karishma said gently.....She guided Haseena to the bed, making her sit down and asked.....aapne mujhe uthaya kyun nhi ?
Haseena gave a small smile, leaning into Karishma’s touch as she pressed the hot water bag against her lower abdomen and replied ....aap itne aaram se so rhi thi mai aapko disturb nhi karna chahti thi , besides, I am used to handling this on my own just like you must be doing.
Karishma frowned, her protective instincts kicking in as she said.....yes I handle it my own like everyone does and you too but now you have me na?
Haseena couldn’t help but smile at Karishma’s seriousness as she replied .....yes I have you and you have me ...You are so sweet, Karishma.
But Karishma was not having it ,she made Haseena lie down on the bed, adjusting the hot water bag to ensure it provided the most comfort and looked back at haseena who was looking at her constantly......what ?....she asked
Haseena chuckled softly, resting her head against Karishma’s neck and said....You’re too much sometimes, you know that?
I know and i also know you love it, don't you ?.....karishma replied wrapping her arms around her.
Haseena hummed in agreement, the warmth of Karishma’s body soothing her as her eyes started getting heavy , she agreed....I do
As haseena’s breathing evened out, indicating she had fallen asleep, karishma stayed awake a little longer, watching over her with a soft smile on her face, she kissed her side head with love.....Finally, Karishma allowed herself to close her eyes, her arms still wrapped protectively around Haseena.

In the morning, the peaceful slumber of Karishma and Haseena was shattered by the sound of a heated argument outside their room.....half-asleep, haseena clung to Karishma and murmured,..... Karishma, Kya hai ye?
