Karishma was driving back from the station when her phone rang , the moment she saw the name flashing, 'Ammi ' , her heart skipped a beat , she answered the call hoping for some good news.

Karishma, bacche haseena ko hosh aa gaya hai, wo thk hai aur tumhe dhundh rhi hai..... Ammi's voice came through the call.

Karishma's grip loosened on the steering wheel with relief as she exhaled and said...mai abhi aa rhi hun Ammi.

On her way back to hospital karishma spotted a small temple by the road , she folded her hands in prayer  from inside the car and said....Muihe kuch nhi chahiye hai Matarani , bas meri Haseena ko surakshit rakhiye humesha.

After whispering her prayers she drove straight to hospital, when Karishma finally arrived at the hospital, she walked through the hallways with thumping heart, as she approached haseena’s room, she saw through the window that haseena was awake, talking softly with Pushpa Ji and ammi.

Karishma quietly opened the door and entered inside trying to control her emotions, haseena looked up and gave a small smile though karishma didn't returned the smile, she felt a flood of emotions but choose to remain silent, she walked over to her bed and quietly took a seat on the stool beside her.

Pushpa ji and ammi exchanged a glance sensing the silence and turmoil of karishma and then noded, they quietly stood up, excusing themselves to give them privacy....hum thodi der mein aate hain...Pushpa Ji said softly before they both left the room, leaving the two women alone.

Haseena turned towards karishma and was about to ask why she was quiet, but before she could speak, the  nurse entered the room with a new drip, she came near haseena and pulled the needle out of haseena's hand making haseena flinch with pain , a little sob escaped her mouth which immediately caught attention of the angry bird standing at the corner, karishma's protective instinct kicked in as she saw the discomfort in haseena's face , she came forward and  said in a strict tone.......Aap wo thoda dheere nhi kar sakti ?

The nurse barely looked at Karishma and responded curtly brushing off karishma's concern....ye mera roj ka kaam hai , aap mujhe mat sikhaye.

Karishma's eyes darkened with frustration as she said in a tense voice....aapka roj ka kaam hoga lekin wo roj roj hospital nhi aati...aur mai aapko kuch sikha nhi rhi hun , unhe dard ho rha hai aur aap itni harshly needle nikal rhi hain bas ye keh rhi hun.

The nurse raised an eyebrow, not intimidated by Karishma’s authoritative tone.....accha, aisa kya? mujhe laga aap dono ka ye roj ka hai, roj idhar aate ho, shair sapata karne ke liye.....she replied sarcastically, adjusting the new drip.

Karishma’s temper flared as she said.....Shair sapata? Aapko lagta hai yeh sab mazaak hai? Agar apna kaam karna thk se nhi aata, toh chhor do.

The nurse rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed while she looked between the two women and added.... shaadi shuda ho aap dono? Ho bhi to bilkul mismatch jodi lagti hai, ek aap itni shant , composed aur ek ye bhari hui bandook , she completed pointing at haseena and Karishma one by one.

Karishma’s hands clenched into fists, her anger bubbling just beneath the surface.

The nurse smirked, looking directly at Haseena....Sach mein, kaise jhelte ho inka gussa? jeevan mein romance se zyada to jhagde chalte honge, hai na?

Haseena pressed her lips together, trying her hardest not to laugh at karishma’s visibly fuming expression,  she watched as karishma’s anger peaked, her face turning into an adorable shade of red.

Karishma’s voice rose slightly, sounding more like an angry child than an ATS officer.....aapko apne kaam se kaam rakhna chahiye, romance pe advice dene ka kaam aapka nahi hai!
