The night before, I was up and thinking about her. I was laying on my bed with my blanket and bed sheets everywhere. I just couldn't sleep. I couldn't stay still. I was scared. I was excited. I kept fidgeting and when I thought about her in general, I'd smile and get all red. I'd feel blood rushing to my cheeks while my smile widened like crazy. She makes me feel insane. But it was okay with me.
This was the day I asked my girlfriend out. That day was quiet scary for me, actually. All the staff members kept asking,"Who's that for?" or jokingly,"Are those roses for me??" I didn't find it funny. I had the help of my friends, Roland and Rachel. Roland and I rushed to Mr. Labrador's room in the morning. I asked my teacher if I could keep it in his office and he gave me a smirk and asked the same question. Although, I wasn't hesitant to tell him why.
During lunch, I hid in the back room. My friend, Katrina asked my girlfriend to show her the commands for a group she was trying out for. I felt my heart racing and my palms sweating. Nervously, I walked my tiny Chinese feet towards her. Scared out of my mind, Katrina commanded her into my direction. I asked her 5 simple words that could take her into 5 different worlds. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
