I can't promise you a whole lot. I can't promise you that I'm going to be tolerable at all times. I can't promise to keep you happy all the time. I can't promise to sweep you off your feet. I can't promise that I'll stay on my side of the bed or give you fair share of the covers. I can't promise that I'll be strong all the time. I can't promise that I'll share my Oreos with you. I can't promise you the world. I can't promise everything you desire. I can't promise you that we won't have our flaws.
But I can promise that I'll try. I promise to be there for you, thick and thin. I promise that every time we fight, I'll order us make-up pizza. I promise to continue doing the things I did to win your heart. I promise I won't stop caring about you when you're at your worst and I'll always work to bring out your best. I promise if you're sick, I'll go make you soup and I won't even be annoyed when you tell me that you feel awful a billion times a day. I know how you feel, I've been sick too. I promise to laugh at your jokes (even if they aren't funny to me). I promise to fight for you every day and do whatever it takes to try to make you happy. I promise to love you until you don't want me anymore in your life and I promise that no matter what...I'm yours.
