Today Alaiya had 2 training sessions. Basketball at 10am and softball at 2:30pm. As much as she wanted to have a break in between, she couldn't. Her training centers for both were an hour away from each other.
Bryce knew not to try to talk to her much. Since she was practicing her decided to hang out with their friends.
" My nigga, i haven't seen you in ages bru. wifey got you on lock?" Romelo said as he got in Bryce's car. " Nah man I just Ain got a reason to get out" Romelo just chuckled. " you know Layla keeps asking about you and her. It's like she misses you. But then she makes it seem like y'all have been talking. What's the moves twin?" Bryce looked at his friend as he just kept talking. " She still talks about me?" He questions, avoiding his friends try to change the topic. " Yea but your with Alaiya so don't go fucking that up for some snow" Bryce just laugh as he felt bad inside. His and Layla have been texting non stop. If he wasn't on the phone with Lai he was on the phone with her. He knew what he was doing was borderline wrong, but her didn't know what else to do. Layla is there for him in ways Lai wouldn't be and Lai is there for him in the ways Layla can't. He knew he had to choose. He knew it couldn't be Layla either because they already tried that. " I don't know dawg, I think I'm lowkey cheating with how much me and Layla be talking but i don't know how to approach that conversation with Lai. The-" "What the fuck do you mean you don't know how to approach it!?" Aaliyah exclaimed from Romelo's phone " Sorry, forgot she was on the phone." He said looking sorry. " liy I know she's your best friend but you can't tell her. Please swear to me" Bryce pleaded. " you have until school starts to tell her or I swear to god I will" With that she hung up the phone Fuck what did I do?

Alaiya pov Alaiya was on her way home from a long day. All she wanted was to take a long shower, eat, and lay up under her man. " hey siri call Bryce" " Calling Bryce😍🤞🏾"
Bryce POV " oh fuck she's calling me" He said as he looked over to Layla and Romelo. " just answer her" They both said. As Bryce worked up the courage to answer it stopped ringing. " oh shit she hung up before I answered" He said as Layla walked out to the bathroom. " well she calling me" Romelo said with a slight attitude. " I hate being dragged into your shit dawg" Romelo answered the phone with a big smile. " wassgood twinski i haven't heard from ya in a while. You good?" He said looking at Bryce. " yes I just needed to run something by you" She said as she started laughing " Can you come over? Are you home cause I can come get you?" Romelos eyes went wide. Thank god it wasn't a FaceTime. " yea I'm gonna leave Bryce you can come scoop me" " ok imma just come over there and get you" And with that she hung up. " wait she doesn't like when I hang out with Layla without her. She can't see she's here" Romelo just laughed. " this just keeps getting fucking worst dont it!? What next your gonna tell me she sucked you off yesterday?" Once he said that Bryce started to have a guilty look on his face while rubbing the back of his neck looking down. " What the actual fuck. You let her suck you off before Lai even got the chance?" With that Romelo headed to the door while Layla walked back in from the bathroom. " Fix your shit and tell her or I will. Your fucked bro straight fucked" With that he walked down the stairs as Bryce got a notification that Alaiya put her code in and is driving down the drive. Oh fuck this is bad He thought as he went to the door. " Layla stay in my room please" She just hummed as she laid on her back hypnotized by her phone. He ran down the stairs and out the front door. " hey baby" He said as he stopped her from getting out of the car. " hi? What's wrong I was gonna come up?" She knew something was off. She felt it since yesterday. Alaiya learned that when she had a gut feeling it was right. " nothing " He was a horrible liar. Lai just rolled her eyes and got back into her car. She looked at Bryce and just rolled her eyes. " I don't know what you're doing but stop fucking with my time" And with that she drove off with Romelo leaving Bryce by himself. Fuck what did I do?
