Waluigi 3- The Intergalactic Finale

Chapter 1- All Hope Lost?

Waluigi lunged towards his portal with extreme haste. He was closely pursued by a gang of possessed kremlings, each one ravenous, craving his flesh and blood to satisfy their demands. It was an extremely tense moment; one of the kremling's claws was inches away from stabbing his bright orange shoe with its sharpness. Waluigi did not know this, but prayed that he made it. Time felt like it was passing at a snail's pace as his lengthy body travelled through the gaping hole in the kingdom. He landed, skidding across the floor of the Comet Observatory, burning his chest in the process thanks to the immense friction. He looked behind him to see that the portal had closed, but he was somewhat surprised to see a handful of claws just lying there, scattered as if they were nothing. Waluigi breathed a huge sigh of relief. It was an extremely close call; had he been just a fraction of a second slower, then what? Waluigi winced at the thought of himelf becomingcrocodile food, destroying all hope of a happy outcome for himself and the galaxy. 

At once countless of tiny, vibrant balls of colour slowly approached to see what had happened. They saw Waluigi, bruised, battered and wearing clothes that were torn, telling a tale of a ferocious battle that had occured minutes before. "Walweegie!" one of them in particular cried out in glee, happy to see his best friend again. This green luma befriended Waluigi before all of this mess had occured, and Waluigi did not resist the attempts to comfort him. A nice warmth radiated from this peculiar creature, and all of the other ones of course, but this was also an innocent warmth, one that was blissfully unaware that the entire galaxy was under threat, unaware that their beautiful 'mama' had endured a hostile takeover by some strange device. 

Unaware that all hope was lost.

Tears began to form like raindrops on Waluigi's disfigured looking face. It wasn't actually disfigured despite all of the chaos he had experienced- he was unfortunate to be cursed with it at birth. It was a reminder of how neglected and abused he was, causing him to act in mischevious ways. Yet this face was blessed at the same time, since it had experienced the love of Rosalina, which Waluigi felt was slowly fading away. "What's wrong Walweegie?" the loving luma asked, sensing pain within the plumber.

Waluigi looked up to inform all of the lumas of the terrible news. "Your... mama," he said, fighting his tears almost as valiantly as he did in the actual battle, "is gone." Waluigi lost his battle and began to cry hardly, echoing the emotion that the lumas quickly started to feel. Hundreds of tiny voices began to wail with woe. They could scarcely believe it. They did not want to believe it; their mama, who had been a caring mother to all lumas for a scarily large amount of years was gone in an instant. She didn't even say goodbye to them since she was gone for a few days, aiding Waluigi on their adventure. Waluigi was stuck, he had no idea what to say. What would happen to the lumas now? Who would look after them? It couldn't be him, could it?

"Calm down please," an old and wise voice instrcted. This voice certainly was not immune from accepting a tinge of sadness, but polari knew Rosalina better than anyone. He had been her assistant for decades, watching as every other luma he had encountered was nurtured among his presence, then cast off into the deep, never ending chasms of space, transforming into various planets while he remained to accompany the princess of the galaxy. "Waluigi," he said calmly, wanting to find out what happened. "What happened?"

Waluigi fixed his gaze onto the dark luma with faint blue eyes, its appearance almost reflecting the void of space itself. "Bowser captured her. He transformed her into this terrible being, her body a mere shell for the spell that has taken her soul. She, along with the possessed Mario Bros then turned on the idiotic koopa," he said with a hint of anger in his tone, "I tried to defeat them, but failed. The three of them then seemed to have cast their spell on Bowser's entire kingdom, as well as retreating into the sky." He then pulled out Rosalina's wand as proof. Waluigi expected polari himself to give up when seeing this, but he was surprised to see his eyes changed shape into a happy expression. "Wah? Why are you happy?" he questioned.
