Waluigi 3- The Intergalactic Finale

Chapter 7- Friends Reunited

Waluigi gasped from exhaustion and guilt. He wasn't sure whether he had killed Daisy, Peach and the Toad Brigade but he at least felt that the brainwashing spell- or whatever it truly was seemed to have been broken just like his ego a few weeks ago. He approached the unconscious group cautiously, not entirely sure as to whether they were no longer hostile despite being somewhat certain, his hand shaking as if there was an earthquake raging inside. Then, one of them slowly rose to their feet, clutching their head as if they were suffering from a terrible headache, groaning with each centimetre they climbed as they stumbled to their feet.

It was Peach.

"Are-are you ok?" Waluigi asked nervously.

"Urgh..." Peach moaned in response. "Where am I?"

"We're on the Comet Observatory," a somewhat raspy voice chipped in. It was Captain Toad, who had himself recovered from the sickening spell that plagued the group. He knew where he was since he had joined Mario on his adventure when they first met Rosalina a long time ago. "Wa-Waluigi! Your ok!" the Toad exclaimed in pure relief. He wasn't sure as to whether the purple plumber and his group made it out of the castle alive, but with Waluigi here, it was clear they did. He turned around to see his comrades rise to their feet as well, before embracing them with a warm hug.

"Aargh!" screamed Daisy, her extroverted personality making her reaction worse than it probably should have been. She looked around, taken aback by the fact that she was in space, staring at the infinite void that lay before them, which was only interrupted by tiny spots scattered in the distance. Little star creatures that from a distance looked like small sweets began to encircle the healed group, curious to find out what was going on. They all chirped in delight when they quickly figured out that these visitors were now friendly, greeting every one of them with their bundles of energy and joy.

Luigi emerged from his hiding spot to check what was going on. Since the lumas all moved, then perhaps the situation was resolved? He crept forwards with trepidation, partially unaware that the situation was actually completely under control. 

"LUIGI?!"

Luigi almost fell backwards in fright such was the volume and shock of his name being shouted in a familiar voice. A voice that was as upbeat and joyful as the flowers that she took care of.  It couldn't be, could it?

D-Daisy?" he asked, hardly believing that she was truly here. The couple were properly reunited as they raced towards eachother, hugging eachother as tightly as they could, almost suffocating eachother in the process. They then proceeded to share a nice warm kiss, causing Luigi to blush in the process; despite their unbreakable bond, he still felt like he was dreaming every time they spent time together. A princess spending multiple periods of intimacy with a plumber overshadowed by his older brother did sound unbelievable at first glance to be fair. 

Waluigi smiled as Peach and the Toad Brigade began to swarm in on the couple, each one happy to be properly re united with the other, since they all had no control or awareness of their actions while possessed, with the exception of Luigi of course since he did have some awareness of what was going on. They engaged in conversation, their focus shifting to what their plan of action would be once Luigi had explained all that he knew. They turned around, now acknowledging Waluigi's presence, before Peach asked him, "Waluigi, we have to leave. we need to see if any toads made it out of Bowser's Kingdom, and we also need to return to my castle, since none of us have been there for a while." Her tone contained an ounce of surprise at the fact that Bowser was on their side, at least for the time being anyway. 

"Sure," Waluigi agreed. "Let me guide you to the correct launch star. Rosalina and I would use this one a couple of times before things took a turn for the worse," he chuckled as he led the group through the intruiged lumas, to a secret launch star that was perched on the very edge of the Comet Observatory. The purple plumber gestured for them to enter, but before they did, he warned them that it would be an uncomfortable ride.
