I leaned back on the wall zoning out my algebra teacher. It was 2:55 meaning we had 17 more minutes until the bell rang for dismissal. I couldn't wait for 3:15. Mami was coming to get me today which made me even more excited. All I could think about was her. Ever since I've meet her she's all I could think about.

There's never a dull moment with her. My mami. we're definitely meant to be I don't care what nobody says.

I know she doesn't wanna take me serious because of the three year age difference, but I promise I'll change her mind. I just need to show her that I'm mature enough.

It was a Thursday meaning we had another therapy session.

Sometimes I'll only go just to be with her. I don't even talk about my feelings anymore only here and there if she threatens to kick me out. but I don't care. As long as I'm with her I'll be fine.

I smiled as I thought of her.

Shaking me out of my thoughts my bestfriend tay tapped my shoulder.

I Looked up at him raising my left eyebrow at him letting him know that he could continue.

"Yo bro you good ? You all zoned out and shit " Tay said chuckling.

"Yea I'm good man just thinking about mami." I called her that so much that Tay and Rondo already caught on. He laughed at me. "You gone see her In a lil man calm down. Simp ass" he joked.

"Nigga I don't care. I wanna live in her skin, I'm so ready to gooo" I whined. Tay shook his head at me.

"Aye all jokes aside I really like her for you. You've been so much happier ever since she came around." Tay looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Thanks man. I been feeling so much better lately. It's like she motivates me to do better, you know? I love that about her. " Tay nodded his head understanding.

Before he could even respond the bell had rung causing me to jump out of my seat.

"Aight folks i'a see ya later" I dapped out Tay.

I looked down at my phone seeing that Zolahn texted me telling me she was outside.
