"Nigga calm down", Rondo laughed at his best friend, "you're overreacting."
"she's coming back it's only been what? 3 hours. You'll survive." Tay said rolling his eyes at how dramatic Leonard was being.
"I don't give a fuck." Leonard said mumbling playing with his fingers. "She should be back by now anyways."
Tay looked at Leonard smacking his lips, "That's a grown ass woman La. let her go out and have fun."
"Yea and she's a grown ass woman who has a boyfriend at home waiting on her." Leonard said rolling his eyes at his best-friend responses.
Rondo laughed shaking his head as he rolled another blunt for the three of them, "Tay's right La just chill." He shrugged. "I say just watch her story to make sure she's good & leave it alone."
"Or I can call her to make sure she's good." He said trying to reason with them.
Tay just shook his head while Rondo slightly agreed to it. If it wasn't going to get his best friend to shut up about it then he was okay with him calling her.
"Will it get you to shut the fuck up?" Rondo said taking the blunt out of his mouth blowing smoke around him.
La shook his head rapidly as he dug into his pant pockets grabbing his phone. Clicking on the green app with a phone displayed inside.
he went to Zolahn's name quickly since she's the only person he calls besides his grandmother & two best friends.
Putting the phone up to his ear she answered on the second ring. "Hey mami." Leonard said with a smile on his face happy to talk to 'his mami' after almost four hours.
"Hi toot. You okay baby?" She said over the loud music playing in the background. "Yea I'm okay. Just missing you." He said pouting. "When are you going home?"
"In about 2 hours baby. The time will go fast I promise. " she said trying to reason with them because she knew if she didn't he would catch an attitude with her and wouldn't hear the end of it.
"Okay." He said sighing. "I have to go toot. I like you so much. bye. " she said hanging up. Rolling his eyes at how fast she hung up the phone he stuffed his phone back into his pocket looking back up at his best friends.
"Happy?" Tay said. "Mhm" Leonard said.
"What's the word though La? You ain't really been filling us in man." Rondo said.
