"Grandma hurry up we're going to be late" Leonard said rolling his eyes at how slow his grandmother was being.
"Oh boy don't rush me, for I go even slower." his grandmother said teasing him.
"Do you have your cap, gown, and your ring Leonard ? " she yelled from her room.
"Yes ma'am. I have everything on. " he yelled back in response.
Today was a big day for Leonard. He was finally graduating high school & to say the less he was excited, but he was also nervous. he hated standing in front of big crowds so all he could think about was how would he act when they called his name in front of all his fellow classmates.
yes he was familiar with most of his classmates faces but he was still nervous. he didn't even talk to them as much.
"I still have to go and get Clint and Tay, right?" Ella asked walking out of her room and grabbing the keys to her car. "Yes ma'am. " he told her. "They're at Tay's auntie house right now," Leonard said now standing up on his two feet about to walk behind his grandmother.
"Wait before we walk out this door let me make sure you look presentable." His grandmother told him.
"Grandmaaaa" Leonard whined stomping his feet like a little kid. "Oh boy don't play with me. bring your behind over here." She fussed at him clenching her teeth.
She fixed his black long gown since he had it all scrunched up and tilted the cap on the right way. & bended down grabbing his black hey dudes making sure they were tied right.
Once she made sure Leonard was good they walked out the house into the drive way.
Getting inside Ella's car she backed out of the driveway.
"Soo will Ms.Zolahn be attending your graduation?" Ella questioned slightly teasing the younger boy. La blushed just at the thought of her.
"Yes ma'am she is, I can't wait to see her again. " he said happily. "I'm going to be even more nervous though since she's coming. she makes me so nervous grandma." La rambled to his grandma.
Ella liked the fact that 'her baby' finally had a girlfriend that made him happy. she was happy that he was happy.
ever since he was a little kid he was just always so sad and shy. now that zolahn brought out his happy said Ella couldn't be more happier than ever.
"Aww how cute. my baby finally has a girlfriend." Ella fake pouted. La shook his head smiling. "She's not my girlfriend just yet grandma. she said she wants to take it slow and I'm perfectly fine with that." La said fidgeting with his fingers.
