Leonard stuffed his hands in his green Ralph Lauren hoodie as him and his two best friends, Rondo & tay600, walked the dangerous streets of Chicago. They just got done hitting licks now they were on their way to their studio session. Leonard had met both tay and rondo because leonard was getting jumped by some stl members. The reason being that when Leonard grandmother, Ella came and picked him up she didn't have the best looking car so the stl members teased him about his grandmother's car which trigged the young teen and caused him to wanna fight. & since rondo & tay were in different gangs then stl they decided to help Leonard feeling bad for the poor baby. ever since then the three teens been tight.
"Aye la when you start going to your therapy sessions ?" Rondo questioned Leonard calling him by his stage name.
"April 21st " Leonard said to his best friend. The current date being April 19th which meant he had 2 more days. Leonard really didn't wanna go because he felt as if nothing was wrong with him. He always thought therapist were stupid & couldn't tell people how to feel about their traumas or past life's, but his grandmother and even his principle, Mrs. Smith, insisted him seeing somebody. Mrs. Smith didn't know about his past life but she did know that he was a troubled kid who wanted to fit. Always into fights, coming into school late, & skipping. Although him being a troubled teen that didn't stop him from learning. Leonard was still a straight A student despite him barely coming to school, but when he did come he tried his best to pay attention.
"Damn your grandma and Mrs. Smith really making you go to that shit ?" His other best friend, Tay, said with a slight chuckle. La took his hands out his hoodie and fidgeted with his fingers. with a slight sigh he nodded his head. not really wanting to talk about it since he was scared of going.
"you good ?" Both tay & rondo asked in sync. the two bestfriends looked at each other before bursting out laughing, while leonard just shook his head chucking at his childish bestfriends. "Yea I'm just scared of going because I don't want no random person I don't know judge me off of my past. " he sighed.
"I feel you man but maybe it's best for you to talk it out instead of bottling that shit up. the more u do it the more it'll affect you in life. " Tay told his best friend trying to get him to understand that it's best for him to see someone about his past life. He knew his best friend still didn't get over how his mother treated him when he was only 6 & what his older sister did to him when they were only 13. He felt so bad for him.
"Yea I mean it couldn't be so bad la " rondo said " yea yall right I guess but enough about that therapy shit. Yall ready to get in the booth" La said trying to lightning up the mood.
