The one on my mind.

After they had put on their seat belts,Dr Wang drove off silently.
"Please don't take Darious' words at heart,I don't know what got over him ,just don't think hard about it" Kenya said pleadingly ,she didn't want Dr Wang to take Darious' words to be true,She knew Wang,he was a good man and any woman would be lucky to have him.

Dr Wang smiled
"Don't worry about it, psychology states that cheating men are in most cases always immature,how then can I take his words to heart" Dr Wang said. Kenya then sighed in relief.

" By the way,I don't know your address,I have been driving aimlessly" Dr Wang said,the two laughed and Kenya reported her address to him.

Dr Wang put the address into the Gps before changing directions and heading to Kenya's home.
"It's been a hard day for you, would you like to come in and have a drink?" Kenya requested. Although Wang thought it wasn't hard on him as Darious' words didn't hurt him in the least,he didn't want to miss an opportunity to enter Kenya's house. He accepted her invite and the two entered into the house.

Kenya's house was homely,that's what entered into Wang's mind after entering. When he turned a corner,he was met with summer's pictures,in one,she had a gold medal,full of vigor laughing brightly while hugging an older woman,they looked alike so he assumed that was her mother.

He had previously heard that her mother had passed away some time back.
"Were you an athlete?" Wang asked.
"You can say that,if I hadn't become a doctor,I would have been on the national track team"  Kenya replied.
"Why didn't you continue with the track career?" Wang asked.

" I thought it was a short lived career path for me as after a certain age I would be out of the game so I opted for another career instead " Kenya said. They then headed to the sitting room,Kenya asked Wang what he would like to drink before going to the kitchen to get him coffee.

The two sat drinking their different drinks quietly.
" What did your ex boyfriend mean when he said our people will despise you if there is any chance of us being together?" Wang asked.
"I thought you were going to ignore his words,don't think about him " Kenya said.

" I didn't ask because I took his words to heart I am a little bit confused, that's all" Wang said.
"Many black women rarely date outside of their race because of the racism targeted towards them either from the families of those non black men or even people in their community,there have been black women who have dated out and came back with such reports,I guess that's why Darious said what he said." Kenya said while sipping her coke.Wang understandingly nodded.

" I would cut off any friend, family member who did that to you,I also know my family,they are not narrow minded people " Dr wang said. Kenya smiled,she knew Wang was contrary to what Darious thought,she judged people just by their actions and Wang's actions had proved to her what kind of man he was.

" I know,we are not dating though, aren't you taking what he said too seriously?"  Kenya laughingly said. Dr Wang looked at Kenya gently,he thought about it,he had to tell Kenya his feelings, although she seemed distant to the thought of dating,he would prove to her that he was different from Darious,that he truly only had her on his mind.
