The promise.

Wang didn't know the debate that happened at home,even if he knew he wouldn't care because the people he wanted approval from had given it.

He headed straight to Kenya's office knocking on the door with breakfast,in addition to lunch,he now brought her break fast every day.

When summer saw who had come in,she gently smiled.she might not have realized how gentle and dazzling her smile was. Wang's heart couldn't stop beating. He was done for,Wang thought.

"What did you pack today?" Summer asked as she approached Wang. She had seized eating breakfast because Wang always delivered it to her ever since he decided to pursue her.
"I cooked congee and steamed buns. It is good for breakfast" Wang said.

"Let's eat together? The food seems too much " summer suggested.
"Okay" Wang readily agreed. The two had breakfast together in tranquility.

After work, Wang requested to take summer home,although summer thought it was unnecessary,she still agreed.

Wang was putting in effort to pursue her so she allowed him. Wang turned and put the seat belt on for summer who was attempting to fix it herself. She just smiled and went with the flow.
" You are so romantic,have you dated before?" Summer asked with a jealous and accusing tone she didn't even notice.

Wang subtlety looked at her and smiled brightly,he loved the jealous summer too.
" I have dated but I broke things up after some time myself" Wang said
"Why did you break up?" Summer asked.

"We lucked chemistry and also some of those girls just wanted proximity to my family and not me specifically." Wang added as he turned a corner.

" Is your family a big name in china?" Summer asked
"You can sort of say that." Wang said.

" Aren't you worried that they will disapprove of this relationship? " Summer commented.
"I am not worried,I am just worried that you won't accept me" Wang said

" I am being serious Wang,I don't want you to face criticism because of me." Kenya said.
" What criticism?you are beautiful,kind, educated, independent and lovely. Any one who objects can roll off" Wang said. Kenya blushed at his words and her heart couldn't help but skip a beat.

As they approached summer's house,they were met with aunt Sheila,uncle willy and Darious.
Summer sighed.

" You can head back,this time around,I will make it completely clear with them" summer said.
"I will go with you,when I decided to pursue you,I wholeheartedly meant it" Wang said as he also moved out of the car.

"Why is it you again!" Darious angrily shouted.
" I brought my girlfriend home,what are you doing here?" Wang said,Kenya felt butterflies in her stomach, Wang's possessiveness was so hot.

Darious fumed with anger before saying "Aunt Sheila,I told you about the Asian guy distorting Kenya's mind. You all know how this will go for Kenya,she is going to face racism and prejudice if she decides to be with this man. Please explain it to her!"

" That is my business,I am now in charge of overseeing Kenya's affairs." Wang said.
" This is her family talking! You have no right to open your mouth!" Darious said
" But we will soon become family,I have to know Kenya's relatives,you on the other hand have no relationship with her" Wang said. Darious was so angry that smoke almost came out of his ears.

" Dream on! Kenya, don't be quick to enter into a relationship, think about it clearly,are you ready to face all those challenges that will be thrown towards you just to be with him?" Darious asked as he attempted to walk towards Kenya.

He was however blocked by Wang.
" You can talk at a distance,I am not the kind that allows an ex boyfriend to get close to my girlfriend " Wang said. Kenya couldn't suppress her chuckle.

Darious furiously turned around to leave not before facing Kenya " remember this day kenya,I warned you but you didn't listen when something happens to you, don't ever come crying to me" he said as he walked off.

Kenya then discovered her aunt and uncle.
" Uncle,aunt,please don't listen to Darious again. Me being with Wang was a carefully thought through decision." Kenya said

" If you are happy,then we can't object but take care. And you young man,summer is a very brilliant girl,please don't let her lose her shine. Be happy" Aunt Sheila said before mentioning to uncle willy to follow her.

" Don't worry about Kenya aunt,I have the best interest in her well being,I promise to take care of her without fail." Wang said before Sheila and willy left.
