The journey in the taxi to the airport is quite a quick one, and I smartly block out Olivia's constant chatter about what we are going to do for the three months, before college begins by plugging my earphones into my phone, and crank Fall Out Boy up, as loud as it will go.
Though, obviously, oblivious to knowing that I am trying to ignore her, Olivia blabbers on about the kind of stupid things she would talk about.
I sigh, loudly, and I guess the cab guy must be getting sick of her voice too, as he swiftly reaches out to turn up the volume on the car radio, and keeps giving her slightly apprehensive and weird looks, in the rear view mirror.
I smile to myself secretly, and shake my head. It's not that I hate my best friend, it's just that she never knows when to shut up.
When the guy arrives at the airport, he drives into the pickup and drop off section, and helps us with our bags. I hand over twenty bucks, and tell him to keep the change. He smiles kindly, in gratitude, and hops back in the cab, with a quick nod of his head.
"Okay, well first we need to-" I stop mid sentence, as I realize Olivia is already running full speed, down the entrance hall.
"HURRY UP SLOW COACH!!" she yells, when she makes it to the end of the baggage queue.
Honestly, you'd think my best friend was five years of age, or something.
I laugh, and shove my phone in the back pocket of my shorts, and run down the hallway, my suitcase trailing behind my feet.
I don't know how it happens, but the next thing I know, my face lands on something strong and firm. I automatically step backward and see than it is a man's chest.
"Oh sorry, I'm so sorry," I say blushing uncontrollably. I feel very embarrassed, at what just happened.
I look up at his face. He is easily a foot taller than me, and I find his eyes, which soon find mine.
His eyes are the most gorgeous things I have ever seen in my life. They are blue, almost like a tropical ocean, with fragments of icy blue around the pupil.
He still doesn't utter a sound.
I drop my gaze, apologize once again, and walk down to Olivia, who is standing with her mouth gaping open in awe.
I prop her chin back up, so her mouth is now closed, but she remains staring at the guy who I accidentally walked into to.
She swallows slowly and turns her focus to me.
" Do you not know who that is?" she asks, in utter disbelief.
I answer with a solemn shake of my head.
"That is Paul Freakin' Walker," she whispers, staring at me like I'm insane.
I turn around and peer at him.
I see it now.
The dirty blonde curls.
The icy blue eyes.
The perfect jaw line.
It's definitely the guy from the famous movies.
I then realize he is standing in the exact same place as when I walked into him.
And the whole time, I have been admiring him, he's been admiring me.
