Chapter 4

"Alright! So when it's your turn state your name and say something about yourself! I'll go first! I'm Thomas Walter and this is my first time teaching a class!" He says as he looks at all of us.

It's Ashlyn's turn next. "I'm Ashlyn and I like dogs." She says quickly trying to get it over with it seemed.

"My name is Emilia and I like skating.." I say quickly not trying to reveal myself. I don't think Ashlyn knew that I did skating.

Aiden went next and he was just being obnoxious at this point with all of his favorite things. "My name is Aiden and I like bungee jumping, skydiving, rock climbing, racing, water skiing-" he said.

The teacher had to cut him off cause he wouldn't stop talking. Then came his cousin Ben who had already fallen asleep.

After some other people went the shy boy from earlier spoke. "I'm Logan... and I-i like astrology." He said shyly as he looked down at his desk.

Then after a few more people the dark haired girl had her turn. "Hi I'm Taylor Hernandez I'm apart of the mechanics club! Come say hi if you get the chance!"

Then the boy who looked very similar to her. "I'm Tyler Hernandez, and yes we're twins. And I'm apart of the baseball club." He says.

So they were twins and they also have the matching t-shirts thing going on to. "How cute." I thought as I watched them to do their turn.

"Alright students! Now that presentations are over. Let's talk about the semester long group project!" He says brightly as he looks over the class.

My heart practically stops beating when he says that. I can feel Aiden's eyes burn through the back of my head. "Take it back!" I whisper knowing my fate.

"You will need to get in groups of 7! And no one can work alone!" He says as I hear Ashlyn groan "please get into your groups and sit together!" He says as he turns and sits at his desk.

Before I can even stand up aiden is looming over me. "Group?" He asks a smirk on his face. I groan and nod as I look back at Ashlyn.

She rolls her eyes but also agrees. We watch Aiden go and round up three other kids. She grabbed the twins and Logan. And we all pushed our tables together.

"This project will focus on georgias oldest city. Savannah." Mr Walter says. My eyes go wide and I look up at him and then to Ashlyn.

She nods to me and rubs my hand. I don't think she knows the reason I moved here...atleast I hope not...

"There will also be an overnight field trip." He says cheerfully. "You'll get extra credit if you attend!" He adds on.

Everyone in the class gets all excited and I see everyone in my group get super excited. By I just sink down in my seat and put my hood on, trying to hide the panic in my gaze.

They start talking about Savannah and what they know about it. They all seemed pretty excited, even Ashlyn was smiling. She never really had any friends, neither did I... well I mean I guess until this point.

"Yo blondie. You know anything about Savannah?" I hear Aiden ask. I look up at him my eyes wide and glossy. "Yeah I grew up there." I answer.

Everyone looks at me and then Ashlyn. "So you guys aren't twins?" Taylor asks. I look at Ashlyn and then back at Taylor.

"We look nothing a like." Ashlyn answers. Everyone just stares at us and looks back and forth. "Uh yeah you do.." Tyler says as he keep studying us.

"Whatever. But yeah I know Savannah.." I answer. "Alright then you're coming." Aiden says, his smirk growing.

"No I think I'm good..." I look down trying to avoid his gaze. "What do you mean no! You're coming." He demands sternly.

"Who are you? My fucking mom?" I snap back. "Woah someone's got an attitude." Tyler jumps in. I glare at him before looking back at Aiden.

"What's your deal." Aiden says as he glares back at me. "Guys! Let's just work on the project!" Taylor cuts in.

Me and Aiden look away from eachother and don't speak for the rest of the class until the end.

"Don't forget to hand those slips in!" Mr Walter says as everyone starts exiting class.

I look at my phone as I see the new group chat that I have just joined. "This won't end well.." I mutter before someone taps me on the shoulder.

I turn around and it's Aiden. He's holding a form and smiling at me "you sure you don't wanna come?"

"No, end of discussion." I say as I exit the class. Aiden watches me leave and just smirks as he picks up an extra slip.

I catch up to Ashlyn and we walk together to our next classes, she still clutching the pink slip for the trip.

"Should I go..." I think to myself as we walk  down the hallways. I didn't give it a second thought and just carried on my day.

The rest of the day went by smoothly and we got on the bus, but not before aiden kept pestering me about the trip.

Ashley we were getting off the bus I looked at him. "I am not going Aiden. Now fuck off." I say before walking towards our house, dragging Ashlyn with me.

We walk in the house and I see Mike sitting on the couch with Emma watching a show. "Oh hey girls! How was school?" Aunt Emma asks.

"Terrible." I say "alright." Ashlyn says at the same time as me. "Maybe it was alright for you! Aiden wouldn't stop pestering me all day!" I yell in frustration and bury my head in the table.

"We also are stuck with this boy in a semester long group project..." Ashlyn says trying not to trigger me again.

"Well maybe you girls will finally make some friends!" Emma says. I glare at her and Ashlyn just looks away hesitantly.

"How could you guys deprive us of this joy! Of sleepovers and play dates not with eachother! Ashlyn never did any of that and I bet you didn't either Emilia." She says

I roll my eyes "you don't really want that mom." Ashlyn says trying to stop her mother's dramatics.

"Well it's getting late what should we have for dinner-" Mike says before getting cut off by a knock on the door.

"Maybe a delivery guy.." he says as he goes to the door. My phone buzzes and I pick it up. I open my messages and click the new one.

Aiden: knock knock...

My eyes widen. "Mike no! Don't open the-" he opens it and the blonde psycho is standing at the front door smirking. "Door.." I finish my sentence.
