As Aiden and his parents enter our home, I excuse myself to the washroom. I run upstairs quickly and lock myself in there.

"Is this guy like obsessed with me or something. This is getting out of hand." I mutter as I go and sit on the bathroom floor.

The minutes tick on as I sit there trying to plan what to do with him. "Fuck it I don't care if I sound rude anymore." I say as I stand up and walk out since I've been in there to long.

I walk down the stairs and see our two families sitting at the dining table laughing and talking together. I look at Aiden and he smiles at me.

I look back at our families and start getting flash backs of my own family.. us sitting around the dinner table in silence.

Tears flooded my eyes but I wiped them away and watched aiden continue smiling. "Is he planning something.." I think to myself

Aiden's father speaks first "sorry for coming on such short notice.. Aiden told us how your daughters have become fast friends with Ben and Aiden!" Emma and Mike choke on their drinks at the mention of friends.

They control themselves and Emma says, "Emilia isn't our daughter, she's Ashlyn's cousin." She looks over at me and I nod.

"Alright.. sorry about the miscommunication, we've moved so much that this is the first time they are in a public school." There mom says trying to change the subject.

"Oh that's great! I hope you guys are having fun!" Emma says looking over at the boys.

"Oh definitely! Especially with the upcoming Savannah trip! I think it would be fun if these two come." Aiden says with an innocent smile.

"I knew he was planning something." I think as I clench my fists under the table as I watch Aiden carefully.

"What trip to Savannah." Mike asks as he looks over at me and Ashlyn skeptically. "We didn't have time to tell you about it.." Ashlyn cuts in before I can speak.

"It's for a group project the kids have for school." Aiden's dad says. "The teacher planned an overnight trip so they can learn more about the city!" Aiden's mom cuts in.

They continue chatting for an hour or so before Aiden's parents say it's to go. As Aiden is leaving he turns around and hands me a pink form. I glare at him and take it.

"Incase you decide to go.." he says before following his parents. "Also it was nice meeting you Mr and Mrs banner!" He calls out.

After there car drives out of our driveway we all sit in the living room and I see Ashlyn's parents slump into the chairs, they seem exhausted.

"They seemed nice." Uncle Mike said as she rested her head on the chair. "I didn't think it would end!" Aunt Emma exclaims.

"I'm feeling tired.. I'm going to bed.." I say getting up and placing the form on a counter before going upstairs to bed.

I undo my braids and stretch a bit before changing into my pjs. I look out the window for a little while studying the landscape.

My gaze freezes as a tall figure moves in the distance but then disappears. I rub my eyes and look again.I could have sworn I saw something move in the distance.. but I brushed it off.

I went and sat on my air mattress thinking about the day when someone knocked on the door. "Come in." I answer.

It's my uncle Mike. "Hey kid.. mind if I come in..?" He asks me as he stands there awkwardly. "Yeah come on in." I say as I pat the spot next to me.

He pulls out the form and holds it infront of him. "We've talked to Ashlyn and she's going, we think you should go to.." he says as he looks over at me.

"Is that really a good idea.." I say looking at him. "Those boys aren't actually my friends you know that?" I ask him.

"All friendships start somewhere." He answers. "I don't want friendship. It's for the weak.." I say

"Hey we won't pressure you. But we think it's a good idea!" He says grabbing me in a headlock and messing my hair up.

"Hey!!" I say as I seem Ashlyn and aunt Emma come to the door as well. "Hey let us join!" Aunt Emma says as they go to the bed.

After all that shenanigans was done, I laid in my bed thinking about the trip. "I feel like I'm losing to him if I go..." I think to myself as I try to think of all the possibilities.

I end up falling asleep after not being able to come up with a good plan to deal with Aiden and the trip.

Aiden wouldn't stop bugging me over the next few days, on the bus, in the hallways, at the cafeteria, you name it he was there bugging me to go on the stupid trip.

I couldn't tell if he was wanting the extra credit or my company. I didn't really care though. I just wanted him to stop.

And he finally did. Once I said yes.
