I feel Dizzy

I was feeling a little dizzy. My body ached and my heart felt a little heavy. It was one of those days when I felt like doing nothing. Everything seemed too much.

I wanted to run away but had no energy to do so. Clock at the side table showed the time as 4:28pm. I rolled over my bed, reluctant to leave the warmth of my soft blanket. I checked my phone. There were messages in group chat. 

I didn't feel the need to check them. I knew it already. I had called Coups earlier in the morning, to cancel the plan. But he dodged my request by saying that others were too excited to be stood up. He was kind of right too. We were planning on this for quite long. 

And we can't cancel the movie plan just because I was feeling a little down. Unwillingly, I got up from my bed. I got myself coffee to charge up a little. Only caffine could scrape me through this movie night now. 

I made sure there were enough snacks for everyone. And you can never be sure how much would be enough considering there are gonna be 13 people. 13 men who can have a surprising amount of food normally, let alone for a movie night. I did all the necessary arrangements, preparing blankets, drinks and other things. 

I took a shower cause once they arrive, they won't leave before past midnight. And by then I won't be left with energy to even get myself to bed. I took my time in the shower. I love taking bath in hot water, my whole body relaxing in the warmth and mind being empty, not fussing over anything. 

Having a warm bath did help. My body was aching less, making the night ahead possible. I put on something comfortable. I had no one to impress as it was just members. So I put on an oversized tshirt and shorts which were just an inch longer than the tshirt on my body. 

I checked my phone. It was 9pm, meaning they would barge in any moment. And then I heard the doorbell. I found Coups on the door, along with his boyfrined of course. "Is anybody here yet ?" Joshua asked handing me a bag full of snacks. 

"You and your boyfriend are the first one" I teased my best friend. "You know how he is, always on time" he whined dramatically. "You both do realize I am here, right ?" Coups said pouting. And we both started laughing. Our laugh got interrupted by another guest. 

This time, it was our producer. He entered with a questioning look. "What did you both do this time ?" asking for the cause of laughter. Woozi asked sitting comfortably on the couch while Coups and Joshua got settled themselves. "Nothing just teasing our leader" Joshua replied while smirking at his boyfriend. 

And then there was another doorbell. I hated how everyone was on time today. Dk and minghao entered, hand in hand, alongside Jun. "Hello hyung, how are you ?" Dk asked smiling ear to ear, clearly too excited. "You met him last night, seriously ?" Minghao groaned at his boyfriend. 

Dk just chuckled, maybe finding minghao cute. While Jun being done with their romance, settled himself beside Woozi. I hadn't even got to close the door when The Lovebirds of the group entered. Mind you, Dk and minghao were couple too. 

But Mingyu could have definitely won if there was a competition about being pathetically whipped for your boyfriend. Wonwoo seemed to think along the same lines. They both entered while Wonwoo handed me the drinks. "Let's sit there hyung" Mingyu took wonwoo towards the beanie bag, meant for just two people.

Of course, he wouldn't miss a chance to cuddle wonwoo. Then came the ambivalent pair of Seventeen. They were still bickering when I opened the door. "Hyungg, tell seungkwan hyung to stop nagging me" Chan whined putting the ttoekbokki he brought on the table. 

"I won't nag if you stop being like this" Seungkwan snickered back. And there comes the tiger too. "Ahh hyung, sorry I am little late. Yaah, make some space for me" Hoshi came shouting, loud as always. 

I heaved a long breath. Finally all of them are here. I looked around to find some space, ready to slump in. "Let's start now ?" Coups shouted to get everybody's attention. "But Vernon is not here yet" Jun reminded everyone. 

 My tiredness was getting to my mind. I forgot there was still one of us left. I was already dreading the night ahead. Maybe I was having a bad headache. Maybe. I thought I could still keep it in. "Someone call him to know where he is" Hoshi suggested. 

Dino was about to call when my doorbell rang again, for god knows what time, I couldn't count. I moved forward thinking it should be Vernon. And it was. But wait. I saw a person standing in front of me, his head sunk low, too engrossed in his phone. A black tank top hugging his lean torso, with a black coat loosely hanging on his shoulders. 

A pair of blue jeans ripped ftom different places and not-so-white sneakers. He lifted his face as he felt my presence. His dark brown eyes beaming at me, his thin lips curled in a small smile. 

"Sorry hyung, got a bit late" he said with an apologetic face. But handsome nonetheless. Wow. How could someone look so handsome without any effort ? I thought to myself. Wait what ? I knew Vernon is handsome. 

He is one of the most handsome man in the idol industry. I have known him for more than 8 years now. Why did I realize it now ? That he is this much handsome. I knew he could get people oggling at him anywhere he went. But why is this hitting so hard now ? 

"Hyung ?" He said in a little worried voice pulling me out of thoughts. "Ah it's okay Vernon. Come inside, everyone is waiting for you" I said composing myself. 

"Come here, Vernon" seungkwan shouted through his mouth filled with snacks. These people had already started munching. Finally, I went ahead to find some space. Coups and Joshua were on the sofa, comfortably in each others' arms. While Woozi and Jun sat beside them, talking about something. 

Mingyu and Wonwoo already cuddling on the beanie bag, not an ounce of shame for their over PDA. But they looked cute too. Hoshi curled up in a blanket with Dk and minghao, all three seriously engaged in a discussion about God knows what. 

Seungkwan and Dino on the blankets, laid on the floor in front of sofa, arguing about whose butt is better.

Vernon was sitting beside Seungkwan, still busy with his phone. And there was space beside him. And nowhere else. 

Okay maybe, if I tried, I could scoot Dino and sit beside him. But what's wrong with sitting beside Vernon. 

Other than his blinding looks, yeah ?
