The next day, Linux picked up Zaina. They were heading to buy their engagement rings when Linux received a call.

He answered, his expression growing tense. Zaina watched, clueless about what was happening.

"Okay, I'll be there in 10 or 15 minutes," Linux stated, cutting the call.

Zaina was confused. "Where are we going?" she asked.

"To my place. You'll stay there while I go to a meeting. It's important, I can't cancel it," he said in a serious tone.

"What about the rings?" she asked.

"I'll manage it," he replied.

"I won't stay alone at your place. Drop me at my home or take me with you," she insisted.

"You are really..." he sighed.

"What?" she huffed.

"It's dangerous. But don't worry, I have my men with me," he said, starting to drive fast.

"Drive slower, or we'll have another accident," she urged.

He ignored her, pulling up in front of a hotel. He got out and signaled to a car with his men inside. Zaina also got out, standing beside him.

"Hold my hand. Don't leave me. Stay close," he said. She gripped his hand tightly, their eyes meeting for a moment before he cleared his throat and led her inside.

They entered a room and saw a masked man with grey eyes.

"Oh, look who’s here," the man stood up, looking at them.

"I'm not interested in wasting my time on you," Linux said, about to grab the man's collar, but he stopped when he felt Zaina holding him back.

"Let me see who you brought," the man said, reaching for Zaina. Linux blocked his way.

"Why did you burn my office?" Linux demanded angrily.

The man laughed, "Did that make you angry? Well, as you know, I don’t crave money or drugs. There are two types of mafia: those who crave money and—"

Linux cut him off. "And those who want to be the leader of all."

Linux suddenly realized what the man wanted. They were not in a safe place, and neither was Zaina. He signaled his men to draw their guns. As they started shooting, Linux rushed out with Zaina, but the man with grey eyes blocked their way.

Linux punched him, causing the man to fall and hit his head. They escaped safely.

Zaina was in shock, speechless from everything that had just happened.

"Are you okay?" Linux asked.

Zaina didn't answer, still in shock. Linux shook her gently and asked again.

"What the hell was that? I almost died!" she exclaimed, looking at him.

"I told you it was dangerous. Don't worry, no one will hurt you as long as I'm here. I'll tear them apart if they even think about it," he stated firmly.

Her heart skipped a beat at his words.
