Their eyes met, the tension between them palpable. He leaned in closer, their lips just inches apart. She closed her eyes tightly, bracing for the moment. But suddenly, she realized what she was doing and stepped back abruptly.

"I'm waiting outside. Come quickly," she said, her voice tinged with hesitation, as she rushed out of the room.

A smile formed on his lips. "I missed the moment just because of her realization," he muttered to himself.

Soon, they arrived at the engagement hall.

"I'll go and meet Zaina," Rehza said to Mania.

"Come soon," he whispered in her ear, and she nodded.

Rehza went to the stage and met Zaina, clicking a few pictures together.

"Is that girl your girlfriend?" a guy approached Mania, asking with a smirk. It was his business rival, Ace.

"Here we go again, another drama," Mania said, mocking him.

"No, for a new girl," Ace replied.

"What's going on?" Rehza joined them, and Mania looked at her, grabbing her waist tightly and pulling her close.

"Ignore him," Mania said.

"Hello, beautiful. I'm Ace," he said, extending his hand with a smirk.

"She is Rehza, my assistant," Mania replied curtly.

Suddenly, they heard everyone clapping. The ring ceremony was starting.

Rehza told Mania to come near the stage with her, leaving Ace behind.

On the stage, Zaina stood with irritation and frustration simmering inside her. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind: "What if I announce that I don't want to marry?"

Linux approached her with a smile on his face. "Don't even think about doing anything stupid," he whispered, breaking her chain of thought.

He pulled out the ring and grabbed her hand, sliding the ring onto her finger.

She looked at him, feeling vulnerable. It was now her turn. She picked up the ring hesitantly.

He grabbed her wrist and yanked her closer. "Do it fast. We don't have forever," he whispered.

With trembling hands, she slid the ring onto his finger.

Everyone cheered and clapped, happiness radiating from the crowd.

The cameramen arrived and started clicking pictures.

He grabbed her waist tightly, forcing her to smile. She felt disgusted under his touch as his fingers brushed against her back.

"Don't touch me," she said, her voice barely a whisper.

He looked at her, his gaze intense. "You better obey," he said. She could barely hold it together, on the verge of speaking out.

"Smile. Everyone is looking," he said with a smirk.

She forced a fake smile, and as soon as the photographer left, she rushed towards her room, unable to bear it any longer.
