Rehza hurried into the building, forgetting everything in her rush. As she entered, she bumped into the coworker who had called her the previous day.
“What timing! The CEO just mentioned he wants to see you upstairs regarding some work issue,” the coworker informed her.
Rehza felt tense; she wanted to make a good impression as it was her first day. The CEO's office was on the highest floor, in his penthouse.
"What a workaholic. Who lives in their own company building anyway? Well, his building, his business," Rehza muttered to herself as she exited the elevator at the top floor.
The entire floor was stunning, beautifully designed and furnished. This was just the entrance. "If the entrance is this nice, I wonder how his house and office look," she thought.
No one was around, and she didn't know where the office was. She saw an open door and went inside, finding what seemed like a living room. As she searched for the office, she was about to enter a room when she bumped into someone and fell down, as did the person she collided with.
Opening her eyes, she realized the person's head was on her chest. He looked up, and to her shock, it was the CEO, Mania. She tried to push him away, but he grabbed her hand.
"Stop moving," he said. His hair was wet, and he was only wearing a bathrobe.
Her heart raced. "Why?" she asked hesitantly.
"Because I hurt my leg; it's twisted," he said, taking a heavy breath.
Slowly, he moved aside a little, allowing her to slide away. She stood up, and he sat on the floor. She knelt down.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Just a little hurt. I'm fine. But why are you here?" he asked with a sigh.
She explained she had been called by the CEO, and a sudden question popped into her mind: why was he here?
"Yeah, I almost forgot. I called you," he said.
"What do you mean?" she asked, shocked.
Suddenly, another guy appeared. He saw Mania's condition. "Sir, are you okay? Should I call a doctor?" he asked.
"No, I'm fine. Just guide my assistant to my office. I'll be right there," Mania said. The guy nodded and led Rehza towards Mania's office.
She was confused and asked the guy, "Who was that guy on the floor? I mean, like—"
Before she could continue, the guy mentioned that he understood her question. "That guy on the floor is the CEO of this company."
Rehza was left in shock.
