"Well that's exactly why I left that part out to let you figure it out yourself. So, what do you say?" The girl scoffed, shoving Chrollo off of her, making him frown as he watched her make her way to the bathtub, tossing the dead corpse to the side before draining the water out its contents.

"You have no idea what that man has done to me, Chrollo." Keiko shook her head before chuckling, "in fact, I don't even know why I'm letting you stick around me when you're apparently very dear to him. Gerard's friends are my enemies, and his enemies are my friends."

She then made her way towards the shower, making a mental note to tell Pierre to dispose of the body and clean the mess made in her bathroom. She turned the faucet, setting it to a cold temperature.

Keiko sensed Chrollo hop in with her, sliding the glass door closed and tensed as he placed both his hands around her waist, forcing her to meet his gaze. "I won't let any harm come your way. All I ask is that you come with me, perhaps as moral support."

Keiko's gaze locked onto Chrollo with a steely resolve. "I'm no fool, Chrollo. I know you only want me to go because Gerard favors me and has Mei who can lift the judgement chain off your heart. But I can't, I seriously can't."

"And why is that?" Chrollo's expression remained calm, though his eyes betrayed a hint of desperation. Keiko almost felt bad, that is why her next words decided to spill her whole life story.

"He was the one that turned me into a vampire, Chrollo. He was the one that killed my family." She sucked in a deep breath to calm her nerves, the cold water running down her back and Chrollo's thumbs drawing figure 8's definitely helped. "And when I was newly turned, I lacked control. I caused massacres, I killed thousands, and I became known as a ripper. Which is a term that was made thanks to me, by the way. It's a word that describes a vampire who lacks control and feeds on every human being they lay their eyes upon."

"At first, Gerard was thrilled to have me. He loved a ruthless killer, and I was one. And the feeling was mutual despite the fact that he murdered my entire family, because through time, I was blinded by the feeling of ecstasy while blood ran down my throat. My gifts from becoming a vampire enhanced, and I became much stronger than one who had self control. I saw vampirism as a gift, and I had Gerard to thank for that.

I worshipped him like he was a god, meaning with every command he gave, I complied without a second thought. I felt compelled, as if I owed him, and I was willing to do whatever it took to make him satisfied.

Until March of 1821, I still remember it as clear as day, we were in Italy, and he accompanied me on a dangerous mission because he said he saw me as a daughter and would hate to see me get hurt. The mission wasn't simple, to infiltrate their kingdom and make Gerard rule in its stead.

And the reigning king of Italy had a son," Keiko paused, both good and bad memories from the past starting to resurface.

"His name was Santi. And like all other cliche romance stories, we fell inlove. Although with all due honesty, I don't really think I loved him in a romantic way. I was blind, and perhaps it was because he reminded me of the love my father had shown me.

I was the daughter of a 'duke', and he was the son of the king.

He was my first for everything; including the loss of my virginity. He was the first and only man to ever feel loved from me, and as I laid in his arms that night, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I couldn't keep my vampirism a secret.
