Three days passed after their first meeting and soon Izuku found himself heading into the building where the alpha's penthouse was. It came as no surprise to the omega. Katsuki was the number five hero after all, of course he would be able to afford to stay in a place like this.
He stood in the elevator waiting to be brought up to the top floor of the building while soft music played. Izuku was definitely dreading this session, and he has for the past three days. He didn't want to be the one to do this. However, he knew he couldn't turn down an offer like this from the hero commission. They were paying him per month that some patients paid him yearly. He can't give up an offer as good as that, and god knows he needs it.
The omega tried to swallow all of his worries as the elevator ascended to the highest floor. As the doors slid open, Izuku was momentarily stunned by the sheer opulence of the penthouse. The space before him was a blend of sleek modernity and subtle, edgy details.
The entryway was a grand expanse of polished concrete flooring, its cool surface contrasting sharply with the warmth of the rich, dark wood paneling that adorned the walls. The living area stretched out in an open-plan design, dominated by an oversized sectional sofa in a deep, brooding charcoal.
The walls were adorned with large, abstract artworks, their chaotic patterns and explosive colors giving a nod to Bakugou's fiery personality. The art was bold and unapologetic, reflecting the intensity and raw energy Bakugou exuded. Flanking the sofa were high-tech gadgets and an array of sleek metal accents, from sculptural light fixtures to polished chrome tables, all arranged with a meticulous attention to balance and form.
A glass wall ran along one side of the penthouse, offering a panoramic view of the city below. The skyline shimmered against the backdrop of the setting sun, casting a golden hue across the room. The balcony outside was decorated with minimalist outdoor furniture, punctuated by a few strategically placed potted plants that hinted at Bakugou's unexpected touch of nature.
The kitchen, visible through an open archway, was a marvel of modern design, featuring stainless steel appliances, an expansive island with a granite countertop, and sleek, high-back bar stools. The cabinetry was dark, almost black, with intricate metallic handles that caught the light.
To the side, a small study area boasted a streamlined desk with a high-backed chair, stacks of neatly organized papers, and a few personal items that hinted at Bakugou's intense focus and drive. The space was practical yet carried an air of subdued grandeur, making it clear that every detail had been carefully curated. The whole area practically screamed Bakugou Katsuki.
Izuku took a few deliberate steps inside, taking in every detail, that no doubt was placed on purpose. His legs carried him towards the living room before standing near one of the couches, trying not to make himself too comfortable just yet. The omega's eyes kept darting back and forth the expensive looking accents that decorated the interior while waiting patiently for the blonde to finally show up.
Katsuki already knew that the green haired omega was there since he had to give him permission to come up to his home. But still, 10 minutes had passed before Izuku started growing impatient. Time was being wasted. The sessions were only an hour long. And after reading over Katsuki's file, the omega didn't know how he was going to be able to get through to the alpha with only hour long sessions.
Izuku's attention was dragged to footsteps coming from behind him before he turned around. His eyes momentarily widened when he took in the sight before him. Shirtless, the alpha walked up to him while rubbing a small white towel against his hair, with only a pair of sweat pants covering his body.
Izuku quickly grew uncomfortable as he forced his eyes to remain on Katsuki's, but even that didn't seem appropriate right now. "Sorry- didn't realize you weren't dressed." He said as he quickly pulled his gaze away completely, opting to look down at the floor instead while he turned away.
