A knock was heard on the other end of Izuku's office door. However, it seemed the omega was neck deep into Katsuki's file at the moment. He barely noticed the persistent knocking before they became loud enough to snap the omega out of his thoughts.

After the last hard knock, Izuku's head snapped up, startled by the sudden loud noise he was only noticing now. "Come in." He said in a voice loud enough for whoever was on the other side of his door to hear him. The door creaked open before one of the omega's collogues stepped inside, Rina Saito. "Finally, I was starting to think you feel asleep on your damn desk again." the female omega said as she rolled her eyes and sprawled out on Izuku's chair.

He let out a quiet giggle as he watched his friend practically pass out on his appointment chairs from exhaustion. "That was only one time, you just like rubbing it in my face." He said as he rested his chin on his palm while looking at her. "Not my fault you're aways doing too much." She said as she shrugged her shoulders and leaned her head back on the couch.

"I just like getting work done...." The omega said as he trailed off, his head once again getting stuck in Katsuki's case files. A small frown found it's way on his face as he read through it, it worries only growing bigger. He really had his work cut out for him on this one. But he knew that stepping into this.

Rina seemed to notice this as she leaned her head to look at Izuku before her gaze fell down to the documents he was reading. "Ohh is that Dynamight's file?" She asked, her interest suddenly piqued as she tried to get a peek. However, before she could see anything, the green haired man covered up the files with other papers scattered on his desk. "Rina....don't probe."

"Are you seriously going to give me the confidentiality treatment right now? C'monnn, I needa know how this went. I don't need specifics." Her caramel brown hair fell over her face as she adjusted herself in her seat as she waited patiently for the other omega to start. Izuku stared at her for a few seconds before he let out a tiny defeated sigh. "Fine, but only because I made absolutely no progress in the first session...." Midoriya said as he stood up from his desk chair and walked towards one of the couch chairs across from her.

"Boring. Well I guess that's what you can expect from one of the most problematic Heroes out there." She said as her eyes trailed along the woodwork in Izuku's office while still listening intently. "He's not problematic.....he's just an idiot." Midoriya added as he smiled and made himself comfortable, lifting his feet up to the sofa. "Well he's a hot idiot."

"Yeah no....he's just an idiot." The omega said as he bit his bottom lips while his eyes lingered to the outside view of his window. He wasn't about to tell her how the only thing he could focus on was how the number five's muscles flex with every movement of his body. He doesn't remember being this fixated on them. "Whatever you say.....I'm seriously jealous of you though- working with him must feel like a fucking fever dream." her tone was exasperated as she through her arms over the armrest before peeking back at Izuku, who still seemed to be lost in thought.

"You have no idea...." The omega said as his gaze shifted towards the floor between them. "Yeah I was kinda hoping you could give me an idea, c'mon please??? I promise I won't ask again." The brunette said as she clasped her hands together while almost begging the omega in front of her. He just shook his head, allowing a small smile to tug at his lips while seeing his friend's eagerness to know how it went.

"I promise you're not missing out on anything.....it's like talking to a brick wall." There wasn't really anything interesting he had to say about his first session with the alpha, besides the fact that Katsuki was actively trying to get under his skin. "Yeah? And how did he react to you pretending not to know him? I bet it pissed him off, huh?" she asked as she propped her head on both of her palms while leaning toward Midoriya.

"If you want me to admit that you were right, you're not getting it." Izuku was already to his wits end. She was the one person he shared nearly everything with, besides what him and his patients discussed. Of course, she was the first to know about Izuku and Katsuki's relationship after the fallout. Rina was also the first to tell the omega that it was a bad idea to pretend he didn't know Katsuki. He didn't listen.

"But I was, wasn't I?" She asked as a sly smirk spread on her lips before Izuku rolled his eyes at her. ".....I seriously don't know how I'm gonna work with him." The green haired omega said as he let out a soft sigh. "You know, you don't have to.....knowing him will only complicate things further." her voice took on a more serious tone as she said that while she sat up straight.

"I know... but this might be the only way I can talk to him." Working with the number five hero would undoubtedly boost his own reputation, but Izuku would be deluding himself if he claimed that was his sole motivation. The truth was, he was terrified at the prospect of facing Katsuki again after so many years of silence. The weight of their shared past was a constant shadow over him, and he recognized that it would inevitably complicate things. That's why he'd hoped to approach this interaction as if there was no history between them—pretending that their past was irrelevant.

A part of him had hoped Katsuki would simply play along, maintaining a façade of indifference. But, strangely, there was a flicker of satisfaction in seeing the alpha's reaction. It seemed that Katsuki was actually pushing for more answers, displaying a level of concern that Izuku hadn't expected. Or perhaps it was just Katsuki's own ego that was bruised by Izuku's initial dismissiveness, a reminder of how their old dynamics had never fully resolved.

Despite everything, Izuku was resolute. He wasn't about to pass off the responsibility to someone else. He was determined to confront Katsuki himself, no matter how daunting it might be. There was something unresolved, a lingering tension from their first session that had made it clear his words had struck a chord. The alpha's reaction had proven that, despite the years and the distance, there was still a connection—a fraught, complicated one, but a connection nonetheless.

"I don't get why you don't just forget about this guy already.....it's been what? Seven years?" she asked, she didn't understand the tension between them at all. "Yeah, Yeah....you don't have to go all psych on me. I have my own way of dealing with things." The omega told her with a soft smile on his face. "I know, I'm just saying. It's not your career that's on the line here." She added. She was right, Izuku could see how his decision to ignore the alpha was affecting him. There was only so many options he could go with. If he drops the act, he knows Bakugou is gonna push to talk to him about what happened eventually. If he doesn't, Katsuki is going to have to get another specialist to see him. The omega wanted to talk with him, he just didn't know how. He was still angry with him but more than anything else he wanted to know if the alpha felt guilty about it at all.

"Yeah and you're right.....he was pretty pissed when he was here the other day." Izuku admitted while scratching the back of his neck, becoming nervous all over again from the interaction. "This is what happens when you don't listen to me." she said jokingly. "Shove it Rina, your advise has gotten me into some serious trouble before."

"It's not my fault you decide to listen to me when I give relationship advice," she said, rolling her eyes as she fiddled with the sleeve of her shirt.

Rina shrugged, a smirk playing on her lips. "Besides, if the number five hero never screwed up your chances of getting into U.A, you wouldn't have such a great friend like me."

Izuku let out an exasperated sigh, glancing at his watch. "Oh my god, whatever..." He grabbed his keys from the table and shoved them into his pocket, his movements hurried. "I'm going to be late for my session. I'll text you when I'm done and we can go out for a while..." He paused, his hand hovering over the door handle, then added, "...I'm not drinking though so don't even ask."

Rina mockingly held her hand up in the air before pressing her lips in to a thin line. "I won't, I won't.....you basically shove it down my neck every time we go out that you don't like alcohol." She said before the omega rolled his eyes in response.
