Izuku knew this was going to happen so why even bother being surprised. He had to gather all of his nerves just to walk into the Agency. The lobby was huge and it was understandable. It was one of the best agencies in the country. However, the sheer size of it didn't help make the omega feel any better. He felt even smaller compared to this imposing building.

He had gotten a phone call for Katsuki just an hour ago telling he should come to the All Might agency immediately. Of course, the omega had said no but Bakugou didn't take that for an answer. He said it was important but Izuku has heard that before. And he had no doubt that it was the same issue.

His suspicions were proven correct when he stood in the door way of the blonde's office. Izuku stepped into Katsuki's office, already bracing himself for whatever nonsense the blonde was about to throw at him. The familiar scent of burnt caramel filled the space along with the remnants of the alpha's scent, but the moment his eyes landed on the setup, his annoyance ticked up a notch.

It was large, more spacious than it needed to be, with a sleek, almost clinical design that somehow still carried that rough, aggressive edge Katsuki exuded. Black leather furniture sat neatly against dark wooden floors, and the walls were a cool gray. It was all perfectly organized but in a way that felt almost oppressive, like Katsuki was daring anyone to mess with his space.

Trophies and awards lined the shelves—every one of them polished to a shine—as if to constantly remind anyone entering just who they were dealing with. His hero costume was displayed in a glass case in the corner, angled like a damn museum exhibit. Of course, the guy would want to stare at a reminder of his glory days every time he looked up from his desk.

The desk itself was massive and overly pristine, with nothing out of place. Not a stray paper or even a speck of dust dared to exist in this space. It was the kind of place where Izuku felt he couldn't relax, like the air was charged with the energy of someone who needed everything to be perfect. There was no warmth, no sense of comfort. Just efficiency and control. Katsuki had made sure his office was as intimidating as possible.

Izuku's irritation grew as his eyes swept over the room. Katsuki would probably get some sick satisfaction out of seeing him in a space so meticulously crafted to show off his success. Izuku could practically hear the unspoken challenge: "This is my world. Keep up or get out."

But what really irked him was how this whole setup reflected how Katsuki dealt with everything—rigid, unyielding, and controlling. It was clear Katsuki didn't even realize how much his need for control spilled into every aspect of his life. Even the way he'd been randomly calling Izuku in for "emergencies" was just another way to maintain some grip on his spiraling world.

Izuku crossed his arms, trying to shove down his irritation. The real issue was that no matter how much this place irked him, he was still here, dealing with Katsuki's nonsense. And somehow, that office—with its cold, calculated precision—was just another reminder of how Bakugou Katsuki still knew how to get under his skin without even trying.

Izuku clicked his tongue in annoyance. "This place feels more like a showroom than somewhere people actually work," he muttered to himself before letting out a sigh. Just as he took a seat on one of the black leather couches and crossed his legs over one another, Katsuki walked through the door. "Great. Here we go again." The omega whispered under his breath.

Quite honestly, Izuku has already had enough. He wanted to leave and continue with the paperwork he was practically forced to leave behind to come deal with the alpha. "What's the emergency this time....?" Izuku asked as he pushed himself off of the couch and stood with his arms crossed over his chest as he stared at the blonde. He hated that smug smirk covering his face. He wanted to find a way- anyway to wipe it off of Katsuki's face for good.
