Nadia's POV:
Lauren, Carson, Hayden, Ruby, and I are currently at Johnny's and Lauren's house getting ready for our annual Comedy movie marathon. Johnny and Kylie came and picked us up at 8:00. We're decorating Johnny's movie room Adam Sandler themed. We decided we'd decorate it "Waterboy" mixed with "Grown Ups". It looks pretty insane. My Sister and I change into our pjs in time for Mackenzie to arrive with the snacks and drinks making us all cheer happily since we all haven't eaten since lunch.
"Try not to be too hard when you critique it. Okay so guys what do you think?" I ask showing them the neatly decorated movie room excitedly
"This is actually way cooler than I thought it would be with how Ruby described it on FaceTime!" Mackenzie says smiling hugging me
"Wow Ruby your Vicki Vallencpurt costume is really epic!" Carson says causing her to smile and roll her eyes
"Johnny yours and Nadia's Lenny and Roxanne couple costumes are so realistic. You guys look just like Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek did in the movie no joke!!" Hayden says making me laugh
"Thanks Johnny picked them out. He gave them to me as soon I came over. He made me put them on before I decorated. He was anxious for me to put it on." I say kissing Johnny's cheek smiling as he blushes
"Mackenzie your Julia Sullivan costume is so sick you look just like Drew Barrymore. Where'd you get it?" Lauren asks making Mackenzie happy
"I got them with Carson when we went to target. He wanted me to be Lauren since he's Robbie Hart he loves "The Wedding Singer" it's his favorite Adam Sandler Movie." Mackenzie says smiling sitting on a bean bag eating a cookie
"Lauren where did you and Hayden get those Henry Roth and Lucy Whitmore costumes? I didn't know they made "50 First Dates" costumes." Carson asks curiously
"We made them actually. It was Hayden's idea." Lauren says smiling as Hayden laughs
"What about you Kylie where'd you get your Violet Valentine costume from? You look just like Julie Bowen did in "Hubie Halloween" it is actually creepy." Ruby says laughing
"Actually I stayed up last night making it. I check Target but they didn't have anything." Kylie says shrugging as she explains
"I told her to make the costume sooner but you know how Kylie is. Always busy with work so she has to be last minute oriented." Mackenzie says rolling her eyes as Kylie sticks her tongue out in response making Mackenzie shake her head
"Yeah well you should have seen Ruby shopping for her pjs I thought she'd never find any." I say shaking my head causing Ruby to roll her eyes
"Not my fault I didn't like half of the Adam Sandler characters they had. I mean they were tacky or really stupid. " Ruby explains to everyone making me laugh hard
"I agree with you Rubes ignore your sister she doesn't get how hard it is to pick out stellar costumes." Johnny says reassuring me making me roll my eyes at him as I light slap his chest
"Wait where does Blake and Ryan think you both are?" Carson asks curiously
"We may have told a little lie and said we're sleeping at Mackenzie's." I say shrugging
"Seriously you girls have more balls than me. I think one look at serious Blake and Ryan and I'd be telling them every secret that even you all don't know." Hayden says laughing as he scratches his neck nervously
"Hayden a squirrel has bigger balls than you." Johnny says making Kylie laugh hard and her head in agreement
"Sorry Hayden I'm on Johnny's side with this one." Mackenzie says high-fiving Johnny
"Okay guys keep picking on Hayden and his confidence will be dead. He'll go home tomorrow and cry in his pillow." I say laughing
"Wow you too Nadia. I expected this from, everyone but you." Hayden says shaking his head disapprovingly
"Don't worry Hayden I'll help you get them back tonight. They won't know what hit them." Ruby says whispering to him making Hayden smile and laugh quietly
I get up and go to use the bathroom. Once I finish I sit back down as we start the "The Waterboy" I can't help but smile. I grab a snack and cuddle into Johnny smiling as he runs his hand through my hair. I let out a sign of content. This is the family time I needed today.
Ruby's POV:
As I'm watching the movie I look over to Kylie. She looks so peaceful. I can't help but smile as she cuddles into me sharing the blanket. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I smile as she turns laying her head in my lap getting comfortable enough that she is content for the rest of the movie. I reach for some popcorn sharing it with her as she smiles gratefully.
"I'm really glad your mom let you come tonight. Although I'm kinda shocked cause she has a strict schedule." I say as I watch her nod in my lap
"You know she's happy anytime we hang out. She told me I deserve a break especially with all the filming I've been doing." Kylie says smiling as I look down at her nodding
"Is it bad that I'm shocked?" I ask curiously as she shakes her head
"Not really I am too but to be honest she is really happy we are hanging out. She loves you. You know she sees you as another daughter you practically grew up at my house. We do everything together." Kylie says rolling her eyes
"I'm glad your mom always lets you hang out with me. Lord knows this group gets in trouble a lot. You keep me company and out of trouble." I say smiling as she smirk
"Yeah no kidding. I've talked this group and you out of a lot of dumb shit." Kylie says smiling as I roll my eyes
"What are you gonna do about Blake and Ryan? It's okay if I ask about them right?" She asks me once we're halfway through the movie
"Yeah of course it is. Can you elaborate more? What do you mean?" I ask confused wondering why she is asking about Blake and Ryan
"Don't get mad at me but they are your parents and I am wondering how long are you both gonna be mad at Blake and Ryan before you give them a chance?" Jenna finishes saying
"I don't know. What they did isn't really something I can forget and forgive so easily. But at the same time it'd be nice to have a mom and dad for once. Not have to worry about everything and wonder what it would be like to have parents when I have them." I say truthfully as I open up and I watch her nod
"I know I just hope they give you guys all the time you need. You and Nadia need to feel all your feelings before you address what Blake and Ryan did. Just so you know you and your sister are better people than I am." Kylie says honestly as I look at her confused
"I don't think I am. Nadia and you are the two most kind hearted people I know. But anyway enough about my egg and sperm donors tonight isn't about them. Tonight is about us having fun." I say smiling as Kylie smiles
Kylie nods as she returns her attention to the tv. I can't help questioning how long do I get to bed mad at Blake and Ryan? Should I just forgive them and move on? I am so distracted that I don't even notice the end credits of the movie started to play. I can't help but feel confused. What is gonna happen in a year from now with Blake and Ryan? Are they gonna keep us that long? Will they just have another kid and send us back? I am interrupted from my thoughts when I see Nadia get up and put the next movie on. This is gonna be a long night.
