Blake's and Ryan's daughters

Chapter 9

Ruby's POV:

I wake up at 9:44 to my phone blasting "Temporary" by Eminem I quickly turn my alarm off before it can wake up Megan and Colson. I lay in bed remembering all the drama with Blake that played out yesterday. I quickly get up and shower getting dressed for the day. I put on some light makeup curling my hair. As I finish getting ready there is a knock on my door. I open my door sighing in relief seeing that it was Ruby and not Blake or Ryan.

"Hey Nadia how'd you sleep?" I ask grabbing my studded leather jacket out of the closet to put on

"Alright actually Blake came and saw me last night to apologize for Ryan." Nadia says sitting on my bed rolling her eyes sighing

"Yeah well Satans wife herself tried to come in my room last night I pretended to be asleep." I say laughing as Nadia smirks laughing lightly

"Yeah well I made the mistake of opening the door when she knocked. In my defense I thought it was gonna be you. Once I saw it wasn't I tried slamming the door in her face." Nadia says shrugging as I laugh picturing it

"So what's the plan are we all gonna go down and have breakfast with Blake and Ryan?" I say rolling my eyes

Before Nadia can respond I hear two knocks on my door. I look at Nadia knowing she is also hoping one of those knocks don't belong to Blake or Ryan. I open the door relaxing when I see Johnny and Kylie standing there. I move out of the way and watch as they join Nadia on the bed before I close my door locking it.

"Did spawn point and sperm donor call you guys last night? Why are you here?" I ask looking at Johnny and Kylie watching as they nod shyly afraid to admit it but knowing they can never lie to Nadia and I we always see through their lies we can read them like open books

"Ryan and Blake called saying you both might need us today. So being your guys's best friends we came over as fast as we could so you guys can talk to us. We left our houses without eating breakfast." Johnny says rubbing the back of his neck nervously as Nadia rolls her eyes sighing

"Well Blake tried to get me to open my door last night and let her in but I ignored it. There is nothing she can say to excuse what Ryan did. She knows she messed up and she is trying to cover it up for him like she used to do when we were younger." I say sadly looking at my ground not wanting anyone to see the tears I'm holding in

"So I was the only one who stupidly answered his knock. I knew I should have texted Ruby first before I opened the door." Nadia says rolling her eyes laughing to hide the hurt she's feeling inside making Kylie smirk as she reads between the lines at what Nadia just said knowing she's hiding her feelings

"It honestly is really sad how she tried to talk to the both of you like Ryan has any actual reasoning to do what he did. She fucked up trying to cover for Ryan. He just needs to admit it to you guys and prove he will not do anything like that again." Kylie says sighing as I nod agreeing she knows everything we went through when we younger when Ryan would get drunk I told her everything the first day we met

"I just wish he'd tried to be our dad and Blake didn't defend him and she'd be our mom. I'm tired of being the only kid with fucked up parents who never wanted her in the first place. I'm tired of pretending everything is okay when it's not." Nadia confesses looking at the floor I watch as Kylie and Johnny get up and hug her holding her tightly

"Nads it's okay we both secretly want that I promise it's not just you. At least at the end of the day we still have each other. I will always have your back and be there for every milestone you achieve. That is one thing you will never have to wish for is me being there for you." I say getting up and hugging her as she nods wiping her face squeezing me tight

"As much as I wish we could camp out here all day what are you gonna do for breakfast? I know you guys haven't eaten yet have you?" Kylie asks as Nadia and I shake our heads no

"Well we can go downstairs, eat, ignore her, and then come back upstairs and hang in your room." Johnny suggests as I nod

"Alright I'm down for that lord knows I'm good at ignoring his scratching nails against chalkboard voice." I say seriously making Johnny and Kylie laugh loudly

"Okay Rubes let's go eat." Nadia says as she smiles squeezing my hand reassuringly and we all go downstairs

I am the last to walk downstairs. Once we're downstairs I grab the cereal ignoring the fact Blake is cooking. I grab four bowls handing them to Kylie. I watch as Nadia grabs the milk and Johnny grabs the spoons. We all sit at the table eating. I scroll on my phone looking at my TikTok. I look at Nadia and Johnny and see them listening to music. I look at Kylie and see she's busy texting playing a game. I smile thinking about how she has been trying to best this level for almost a week now. We all eat our cereal ignoring Ryan's attempts to get our attention. Once we finish our food we rinse out our bowls going into my room. I sigh as I lay on my bed knowing today is gonna be another long day avoiding Blake and Ryan. I can't wait til Thursday when we all go back to work. I actually am praying for work. I never wished so hard for Thursday to come like I am doing right now.
