Mingi

It was hard to pretend that I liked Mihi's company, I knew it was due to my own jealousy and annoyance that Yunho had gotten into a relationship, but it didn't change the general distaste I had for her.

If I was being completely honest, she wasn't even that bad to be around. She was pretty much always positive, and she had a very happy personality. If I wasn't so consumed by my distaste, I think I might've genuinely liked her company. It was frustrating to see how amazing of a match she was for Yunho. They were always playing off each other's energy, making the other giggle or smile even because of a shared glance.

Yunho was doing something on his phone and she was attached to his side, her head resting on his shoulder as she had his arm, pressing soft kisses to his hand absentmindedly. It made my stomach churn to see it.

Then suddenly, like a switch, her eyes widened and she sat up, dropping his hands and putting quite a lot of distance between the two of them. If I was observing correctly, I think it was safe to assume that she had been overthinking and realized they were in public.

Yunho put his phone down for a second, noticing her off behavior. He gave her a concerned look but she just smiled and shook her head. After a minute of adjusting, our gaze locked. I clenched my jaw, being the first to look away, not interesting in any conversation that we could potentially have.

I found myself hanging out with San more often than Yunho, since he was always so busy now. My bitterness made me wonder why I came here in the first fucking place. I missed my friend, and yet it felt like I still rarely ever saw him or actually got to be around him.

I usually just watched San play video games since I wasn't any good at them. Yunho grew up playing on consoles or his computer, but my mom never had any money for anything like that, so I never learned to enjoy it.

I just tried to focus on my online classes but at this point, it was helpless.

The front door open and Yunho strolled in. Every time he came home, he was on the phone with a smile on his face and he just beelined for his rom. I had no idea what I had done, or if I had done anything in general, but I was getting tired of never being around my friend.

San noticed my expression so he paused his game, twisting in his spot on the couch to show me his attention. "It's just Mihi, Mingi. There's no need to be worried."

How did I tell him that Mihi was the reason I was worried? I couldn't, because Mihi might've been Yunho's girlfriend, but Mihi was like a sister to San. Any good relationship I had with him would be trashed if I gave him that impression. I gave him a fake smile, focusing back on my computer.

Yunho made such a huge deal about me getting along with her, but now she was never around when I was. And because of that, he also was never around. Did she not like me? I mean, I didn't exactly like her either. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't though, most of the girlfriend's he's ever had didn't. But usually if they didn't like me, he'd end it with them instead of distancing from me.

Then the door opened once more and Mihi came in with a jacket draped over his arm.

"Can't you knock?" San muttered, not even looking at her.
