The lines were being blurred, and everyone was starting to see it. And this time, it wasn't just Wooyoung making "throuple" comments, but it was even San saying that it was like both Mingi and I were her boyfriends.
And what made that situation actually awkward wasn't that San said that to begin with, but that none of us objected.
And the joke just started running. Even as more time passed and we started doing everything together constantly. When Wooyoung and San were planning to hang out with the three of us, Mihi canceled so the three of us could go out to eat at our favorite restaurant. Even Mingi blatantly said that she was practically his girlfriend since I was his best friend, and all three of us were constantly hanging out, and I mean... I felt like he was right.
I still remember the time that someone told Mingi he should get a girlfriend so we could go on double date, and the idea bugged me enough that I said at the same time as him, "We have Mihi."
Mihi liked watching and reading anime with him or cooking dinner while I was strictly forbidden to even step foot in there. She liked teaching him how to play games because she had more patience than San and I did. He listened to her poetry, and she listened to his rap. And she'd watch Marvel with me, particularly x-men or the amazing spider man, because we both agreed that Andrew's was our favorite. Or she'd be into harry potter, or playing competitive games with me and actually give me a run for my money. And sometimes she'd built pc's with me or put together a keyboard.
And on the couch, we'd all end up piled on the other, whether or not my arms were around Mingi's or hers were. And like a flip was switched with her, she was constantly affectionate. Almost overbearingly so, but being able to spread it out between two people freely was enough for her.
And for our anniversary, I bought her a handmade necklace that I knew she'd love, and I bought Mingi a limited addition manga series he had yet to get himself. And even though it wasn't even supposed to be an anniversary of the day Mingi moved here, it had been. And the three of us agreed on it.
When we were playing minecraft as the only game Mingi confidently played, we ended up putting all of our beds in a line. And like that was the answer, whenever Mihi spent the night, she stopped spending it on the couch and started spending it in the same bed with Mingi and I.
The lines that were supposed to exist between the three of us were extremely blurred.
And right now, I was pretty comfortable.
We should've talked about where we all stood with each other, but I wasn't sure how to bring that up to Mingi. Which probably wasn't fair, because now he was cuddled up to my chest, and Mihi was playing with his hair.
It wasn't long before Mihi fell asleep, leaning against Mingi. I noticed the smile he had when he heard her soft snores. "Is it weird to say that I'm happy like this?" He said quietly to not disturb her.
I shook my head, "No."
Without thinking, I gently traced the outline of his lips, and it made his eyes widen. "Mihi thinks you're acting strange." He blurted.
I sighed, "I know, we already talked."
He relaxed a little. "Oh."
