"I can't believe you made me stay up until 3:00 a.m. last night." I whined to Licia as her arm linked around mine.

"You kept saying 'one more round'!" she answered back to me.

We were heading to lunch together and we sat at our usual spot.

"Where's your brother at?" I asked Licia as I ate my lunch.

"You thinking about him?" she replied back with a smirk on her face. I immediately became flustered.

"Just askin'." I answered.

Soon after, about twenty minutes later, we see him come out from the hallway and entering the cafeteria. He seemed stressed.

"What happened?" Licia asked him as he sat down at our table. I looked up at him and he had an injury near his lip and another on the center of his cheek.

"Fucking Matteo." he muttered as he put his head down.

"Who's that again?" I asked the two of them-making Licia burst out into laughter.

"You don't know who he is??" she asked, still laughing. "Should I??" I questioned her.

"It's our other brother." she said. She put her arm around her brother and slapped his back hard.

"Ow." he murmured.

I joined in with her and tried to lightly hit his head but 'accidentally' went harder than expected.

"We still on for later?" I questioned him.

He started to smile a bit. "Yeah."

Licia had a huge smile on her face. "For what?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at us.

"I was gonna help him in math later at your house. You wanna join?"

She grinned. "Nah, you two can do if. I have an A in my math class anyways."

He had a small smile on his face as Licia said that.

It was almost time to go to class and pointed out the clock to Licia. I hit his head again. "Let's go."

We-well I waved goodbye to Licia as we parted ways.

Once we got to class, we sat down at the same time and he immediately put his head down.

I rummaged through my bag that I still hadn't cleaned out in forever and grabbed a band-aid.

I pulled him by his hair and made him sit up. Handing him the band-aid, I told him, "Use it."

"Can you put it on me?" he asked, tilting his head.

I groaned.

"What? I can't even see the wound!" he replied back to me, defending himself.

"Alright, alright," I told him.

I opened the wrapper and made sure to put it on the exact spot. He stared me in the eyes but I felt too nervous to be able to maintain the contact with him.

I also watched as he his face turned a bit red. Once I looked back at him in his eyes, he looked away-acting as if he hadn't been doing so.

I put the other band-aid on the injury near his lip.

"Andd done." I told him, stuffing the trash deep down into my bag, making it messier.

Class then started and I was unable to pay attention at all to what he was saying. All I could think about was him.

"What are you gonna do with the rest of the stuff that you don't need?"

I asked Mr. Nguyen as finally finished up packing everything else.

After school ended, I went straight here.

We played until 3:00 a.m. last night.

As promised, I'd be going to Licia's place once I'm finished.

"Maybe sell." he replied. "Take, take whatever you want."

I proceeded to take pack of apples he had. "I'll be taking this then!"

I took out an apple, washed it, and began to eat it. It was sweet. "You want one?"

"Is it sweet?" I nodded. "Then yes!" he replied to me with a smile.

I washed one for him and handed it to him. Once I finished mine, I threw it out in the trash can outside.

We went out and put the rest of the boxes into the back of his car.

He locked up the place and left the key in the mailbox as instructed since he only rented the place.

Around the corner, someone came out from the alleyway.

I couldn't tell who it was since I forgot my glasses and couldn't see that far since they were old and my other ones broke.

"Isla?"
