In one of the biggest mansion in New York,
The chairman of Rossi Enterprises sat in his spacious office, looking out of the window. The city skyline stretched out before him, a panorama of towering skyscrapers and endless streets. The sun was setting, painting the sky in hues of red and orange.
Just then, his phone rang. He picked it up and answered, "Hello?"
On the other end of the line, a familiar voice answered, "Hello, Grandfather."
The chairman smiled. "Ah, Alex. It's good to hear from you."
Alex was the chairman's only grandson, and also his pride and joy. Ever since he was young, Alex had shown an incredible aptitude for business, and the chairman had raised him to follow in his footsteps.
"Yes,grandfather I agree I'm sorry I've been very busy therefore unable to check on you grandfather" Alex said
The chairman continued, " it doesn't matter I've been thinking lately, Alex. It's time for you to take on more responsibility in the company."
Alex didn't respond immediately. He knew what his grandfather was getting at. The chairman had been hinting at this for a while now, and it was only a matter of time before he made the offer.
"What do you have in mind, Grandfather ?" Alex asked.
The chairman sat back in his chair, a satisfied smile on his face. "I've been thinking of bringing you on board at one of our offices. There's a position opening up that I think you would be perfect for."
Alex was surprised. He knew that his grandfather had been grooming him for a role in the company for a long time, but he didn't think it would happen so soon.
" But grandfather I have an idea ............ That is if you allow me "
"Kayla Williams hurried through the crowded offices, her heart racing with nerves as she approached the meeting room. She was there for an intern interview, and she had been preparing for it for days. As she reached the door, she took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. Just then, the door opened, and a man came out, almost colliding with her. Kayla stumbled back, her notes flying everywhere, and a coffee cup he was holding spilled over her clothes."
