"The coffee spilled all over her blazer, staining the fabric. Kayla gasped in shock and frustration, looking down at the ruined garment. The man who had bumped into her just said, 'Sorry.' Before Kayla could stop herself, she snapped, 'Sorry doesn't change the fact that my clothes are ruined, you know.'
The man stopped and looked at her, taken aback by her response. 'Well, it was an accident,' he said defensively."Kayla felt her anger rising at the man's dismissive attitude.
"Accident or not, you still made a mess," she said, trying to keep her voice calm.
The man rolled his eyes. "Why are you making such a big deal out of this? It's just a little coffee."Kayla's anger burst out in a flash. "Just a little coffee? Do you have any idea how much this blazer cost me? And now it's ruined because of your carelessness."The man just shrugged, seemingly unbothered by Kayla's anger. "Look, I said I was sorry, didn't I? What else do you want me to do?"
Kayla narrowed her eyes. "Maybe you could actually show a little remorse instead of acting like you couldn't care less."The man rolled his eyes again. "Ugh, whatever. Fine, I'm sorry. Can you stop making such a big deal out of this now?"
Kayla crossed her arms. "Well, thanks for the super sincere apology. Really makes me feel better about having to buy a new blazer."The man made a scoffing sound. "Oh please, it's just a blazer. Can't you just get it dry-cleaned or something?"
Kayla clenched her jaw. "You don't get it, do you? It's not just about the blazer. It's about basic respect and responsibility. You messed up and you're acting like it's no big deal.
The man huffed in annoyance. "Fine, I guess I'll pay for your dry cleaning. Happy now?"
Kayla was still fuming, but she took a deep breath and tried to keep her composure. "Yeah, I guess that's something. But I still expect a proper apology."
The man let out a scoff. "Whatever. I said I'm sorry, okay? What more do you want from me?
Kayla clenched her fists, feeling her anger still bubbling inside her. She said through gritted teeth, "I'm done with this. I'm going to go change into something else before my interview."
With that, she turned and walked away, leaving the man standing there looking annoyed.
A Mercedes parks in front of the company the chairman's assistant Mr Liam gets out of the car "I'm really sorry sir for not getting here on time"The man just nods and gets inside.Meanwhile
"A man was sitting at the table, flipping through Kayla's resume. He looked up as she walked in, wearing a different blazer. As she sat down, he tried to maintain a professional demeanor, but his eyes lingered on her body a bit too long. Kayla shifted in her seat, feeling uncomfortable. The manager cleared his throat and forced a smile. "Hello, Ms. Kayla, I assume? Thanks for coming in today."
Kayla tried to hide her discomfort. "Yes, I'm Kayla. Thank you for taking the time to interview me."
The manager leaned back in his chair. "So, tell me a bit about yourself. What makes you think you're suitable for this position?
"Kayla sat straight in her chair, doing her best to appear confident despite her unease. She took a deep breath and began to speak."
"Hello, sir. My name is Kayla Williams and I am a recent graduate of Columbia University, where I graduated at the top of my class with a degree in Business Administration. I have a strong work ethic and I am determined to put my skills and knowledge to good use in a dynamic work environment like this company.
The manager leaned back in his chair, nodding appreciatively. "Impressive credentials, Ms. Williams. You seem to have all the qualities we look for in an intern here."
Kayla smiled politely, trying to ignore the way his eyes were still roaming over her body. "Thank you, sir. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work here and learn from experienced professionals like yourself."The manager grinned, clearly impressed. "I must say, you've made a very strong impression on me, Ms. Williams. I have a feeling you would be a valuable addition to our team here as an intern."
Kayla's heart skipped a beat in surprise and excitement. "Really? Thank you so much, sir! I would be honored to work here as an intern.
The manager stood up from his chair and walked over to Kayla, offering her his hand. "Congratulations, Ms. Williams. I look forward to seeing you around the office soon."
Kayla got up and shook his hand, trying to hide her discomfort at the lingering physical contact. "Thank you, sir. I can't wait to get started."
With that, they exchanged pleasantries and said their goodbyes. As Kayla walked out of the office, she couldn't believe her luck.Okay I'm not one for Authors note but I hope you are enjoying it so far and do better to post regularly
