Thing I was listening to this song when I wrote this.

Scarlet's pov:

"Sweetie, you need a vacation," my mother said gently. "Take a break from filming and the company. You've been overwhelmed by work for too long."

Her words resonated deeply. I knew she was right—I had been buried in work for months on end without a moment to rest. I'd even lost a few pounds from skipping meals amidst the work.

Running my fingers through my hair, I sighed in exhaustion. All I wanted was to eat something and sleep through the day. "I know, Mom, but what about work?" I asked, my brow furrowed. My new company needed me; I couldn't just abandon Kate and leave everything unfinished.

"Scarlett, I'm sure Kate will understand if you need a break. You've been working nonstop, and both your mind and body need rest. If you don't take a break, I will come over and drag you myself," she said firmly.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her determination.

"Please take the vacation; I can look after Rose for as long as you need," she said.

After another deep sigh and a moment of contemplation, I finally agreed. "What about Paris?" she continued. "It's a vast city with hidden corners and fascinating spots. You need to get away, explore, and have an adventure."

Her suggestion was incredibly tempting. The idea of an adventure, a break from the relentless cameras, and the allure of exploring Paris surged through me, filling me with a sudden sense of excitement.

After chatting with my mother a bit longer, we ended the call, and I returned to finish the remaining paperwork on my desk. Almost immediately, a knock echoed through my small office. I glanced away from the papers and towards the door, a smile spreading across my face as I saw Rose standing in the doorway, holding a plate with a sandwich.

"Come in, Rosie," I called, rolling my chair back to make space. Rose entered with a bright smile.

"Hey, Mom. I made you a sandwich—you haven't eaten in a few hours," she said, placing the plate in my hands and looking up at me with anticipation. I took a bite of the sandwich and exclaimed, "This is so good, Rosie. Thank you."

Setting the plate on the desk, I pulled Rose into a hug, and she giggled happily in response.

"Honey, what do you think about staying with Grandma for a little while?" I asked nervously, holding my daughter in my arms. She pulled away and looked up at me, wide-eyed.

"Grandma?!" she exclaimed.

I nodded, smiling. "Yes, Grandma."

Her face lit up with excitement. "Yeah!!" she said, her enthusiasm clear.

I kissed her forehead and added, "Would you like to stay here and play while I finish up some work? We can play together afterward."

With a cheerful nod, she scampered off to find her toys, leaving me to return to the papers on my desk.

"Do you have everything, Mom? Toys? Clothes? Mister Snuggles?" I asked, not wanting her or myself to forget anything important.

"Scarlett, I have everything," my mother, reassured me. "And if I forgot anything, I have a key to your place."

She cut off my rambling with a smile. "Okay."

"Have you packed your stuff yet?" she asked.

"Trying to get rid of me that fast? No, I'll pack once you leave," I teased her with a playful smirk.
