3rd POV:

Nyrachnia was looking out into the distance, trying to comprehend what had just happened earlier.  Although she felt unsecured and uncomfortable, she decided not to consult her father about it.

"The recent events that happened were quite unexpected." She said, then turned to the cloaked figure. "But you, you had a chance to follow your brother yet you decided to stay and protect your princess from harm." The cloaked figure removed his disguise to reveal Klludd holding his mother's blade.

"It was just a thanks for saving me the other day, your excellency." He said quite nervously. "But I guess we're even."

Nyrachnia nodded in understanding and said, "you're a skilled combatant and a cunning warrior, I'll give you that. But what do I get in return?" Klludd thought hard for a perfect offering, then realized that Egllantiine needed some training like Sorrenn trained him.

"I have a sister." He finally said.

"Go on." Nyrachnia said, Intrigued by what he offered.

"She's young, a little shy, but she's got spirit and will grow into a strong tytto." He explained, not wanting to insult his youngest sibling.

"Perhaps you can bring her to me." Nyrachnia said, taking a liking of the offering. "Here, the young ones are our future."

Sorrenn's POV:

Gylfinea, Wing Dagger and I were able to escape from St Copernicus and far away from it as well. We slowly came to a stop, then Wing Dagger started to sniffle because of the loss of Padlock. Neither of us said a word. That was until Wing Dagger suddenly kicked a big rock and screamed in visible anguish.

We stayed silent until I said, "I'm going to hunt for a while. Be right back."then I went further into the forest of Ambarosia, which we escaped to so as to hide from the Pure Ones. I walked around for a while until I saw a kybuck herd. With precision, stealth and a bow and arrow, I was able to successfully finish off two of them. In one shot too! As I was dragging the carcasses to my friends, I sensed i was being followed. But I shook it off as paranoia. Then just as I was getting closer to my friends, a voice suddenly called out.

"Hey!"

I jumped and turned to see a burrowing scratazon.

(Burrowing scratazons are yet another species of scratazon. This time, they're slightly larger than elf scratazons, but almost half the size of tytto scratazons)

"Oh, nice hunting. You should be proud of yourself, catching some animals that have already been caught!" The burrower complained, extremely agitated.

"W-wait! I didn't see you near the herd back there!" I said, confused as to what was going on. "Did you catch some of your own?"

"Well, I only hunt one every day." He explained. "Those kybucks are huge enough as they are."

Then we looked back at my catch and saw that one of the kybucks have been carried away by a scavenger, prompting us to say in unison, "oh, buggers."

"Ahem."

That caused us to turn to my friends looking at us weird.

"Oh! An, an ambush! Well, I bet you didn't count on this." The burrower quickly said, evidently freaking out. Then he hid behind a tree near us, kicking dirt into my face in the process. Gylfinea laughed at the burrower's antics, then went to the tree where he was hiding.

"Sorry. My friend didn't mean to steal from your herd." She apologized.

"It wasn't his herd." I explained, only to receive a 'not helping look' from her.
