Mum left a will for me and my siblings and my dad. My dad said he'll use this money for our trust funds later in life. Dad hasn't been talking to us, or anyone, in fact. Since mum's death, he's just been binge watching these sad old films. Charlie asks me or my dad or brother where mummy is, me and James prefer to be direct, and say mummy's dead, but dad says he's too young to understand that.
Don't worry, because Charlie hasn't asked that in a long time.
Wait, where is Charlie, I haven't seen him in years.
Dad died ten years ago, and is buried near my mum.
James works as a solicitor now, I'm a painter who moved to Paris.
I can't believe time has flown by all so fast and so quick. That horrible winter was when I was fourteen.
