Ten years ago 25 year old Dr.Wormsly settles in his office, he dedicated his life to unraveling the mysteries of the natural world, constantly seeking new ways to improve the lives of those around him. However, fate had dealt him a cruel hand, as he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
As the disease progressed, Dr. Wormsly found himself confronted with the harsh reality of his mortality. Determined not to succumb to his illness, he delved deep into his research, exploring unconventional avenues for a cure with his wife Daisy who happens to be a florist.
Driven by a mixture of desperation and scientific curiosity, he turned to the power of nature, specifically the healing properties of plant herbs.
"Do you really think this will work?" Daisy asked one evening, her voice tinged with both hope and fear.
Dr. Wormsly looked up from his notes, his eyes tired but resolute. "It's our best shot, Daisy. The pharmaceutical treatments have failed. This... this is our last hope."
Days turned into nights as Dr. Wormsly and Daisy tirelessly experimented with different combinations of herbs, testing their potential to combat the cancer cells ravaging his body. His lab became a sanctuary, filled with the aroma of various plants and the hum of scientific instruments.
"Try adding the Echinacea root," Daisy suggested one afternoon, handing him a small vial. "It's known for its immune-boosting properties."
Dr. Wormsly nodded, mixing the root extract into the concoction. "We need something that can not only halt the cancer cells but also repair the damage."
After numerous failures and setbacks, Dr. Wormsly finally stumbled upon a breakthrough. Through a meticulous blending of specific herbs, he managed to create a concoction that showed promising effects in combating the cancer cells.
"I think we've got it," he whispered one night, staring at the bubbling liquid in the test tube. "Daisy, this could be it."
Eager to test the cure on himself, he prepared a dose and ingested it with cautious optimism. Daisy watched him anxiously, her hands clasped tightly together.
"How do you feel?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dr. Wormsly closed his eyes, focusing on the sensations within his body. "It's... it's strange. I feel... different. There's a warmth spreading through me."
Days passed, and to their amazement, the concoction not only halted the progression of the cancer but also began to reverse the damage already inflicted upon his body.
"It's working, Daisy," Dr. Wormsly said one morning, his voice filled with awe. "The cancer cells are shrinking. I can feel my strength returning."
However, the cure came with an unexpected consequence. Dr. Wormsly found himself undergoing a transformation, becoming a half-plant and half-human hybrid.
One evening, as they were having dinner, Daisy gasped. "Sam, look at your hands!"
Dr. Wormsly glanced down and saw that his skin had taken on a green hue, resembling the leaves of the plants he had studied for so long. Despite the physical alterations, he discovered newfound strength and resilience, as if he had become one with the natural world.
Over time, Dr. Wormsly's hybrid nature allowed him to tap into a unique connection with nature. He could communicate with plants, sensing their needs and understanding their secrets.
"It's like I can hear them," he told Daisy one day, marveling at a blooming orchid. "They speak to me, share their wisdom. It's incredible."
Daisy smiled, her eyes shining with pride and relief. "You've become part of the world you sought to understand. It's beautiful, Sam."
As he awoke one morning, he discovered more peculiar changes. A tuft of soft, green grass sprouted from his chin, forming a beard. To his surprise, he found himself craving sugar, much like a plant seeking nourishment from sunlight.
"Look at this," he said, chuckling as he ran his fingers through his new grassy beard. "I guess I'm truly one with nature now."
But the most astonishing change occurred when he felt a delicate bud emerging from his scalp. With each passing day, the bud grew into a vibrant and enchanting daisy flower, blooming with a kaleidoscope of colors.
"Sam, it's beautiful," Daisy said, gently touching the flower on his head. "It suits you."
Driven by his scientific instincts, Dr. Wormsly realized that he possessed the ability to self-pollinate. With great care, he began to experiment with his newfound botanical features.
"Watch this," he said to Daisy one day, gently brushing the flower on his head. A cloud of pollen released into the air, settling on nearby plants. To their amazement, the plants thrived and grew more vigorously than ever before.
As he continued his work, Dr. Wormsly also found solace in the company of plants. He spent hours conversing with them, listening to their secrets and understanding their needs. In return, the plants shared their wisdom with him, teaching him about the delicate balance of nature and the interconnectedness of all living things.
Even the flower on his head communicated with him telepathically. The daisy, named "Wormsly," controlled every part of him and shared its thoughts and needs.
"It's like I have a partner in this journey," he told Daisy one evening. "Wormsly and I, we're one and the same now."
Now that Wormsly takes the shape of a human body that was once plagued with a sickness and cruelty he was eager to tell his brothers of his new found invention and cure, Dr. Wormsly called out to Daisy, "I'm going to visit my brothers today."
As he made his way to the door, he noticed Daisy sitting at the kitchen table, her brow furrowed in concentration as she wrote a letter. There was a look of distress on her face that caught his attention.
"Who are you writing to?" he asked gently, stepping closer.
Daisy looked up, her eyes filled with concern. "I'm writing to Sofia. I hope to speak with her."
Dr. Wormsly nodded, understanding the gravity of her intentions. "I see. Is everything alright?"
Daisy sighed, folding the letter neatly. "I just think it's important that we reach out to them. There's been so much tension and misunderstanding between our families. I believe Sofia might be able to help us bridge that gap."
"I trust your judgment, Daisy," he said, giving her a reassuring smile. "I'll be back soon. Wish me luck."
"Good luck, Sam." Daisy replied, her voice soft but hopeful. he raced towards city hall where his two older brothers were in an assembly.
As Dr. Wormsly approached the press conference venue, his heart raced with anticipation. He carried with him the cure he had developed, a groundbreaking treatment that could potentially save countless lives from the clutches of cancer.
He was eager to share this news with his brothers and tell them that he has been cured.
Dr. Wormsly stepped into the hall, immediately sensing the charged atmosphere. His brother Avis, who was running for re-election as president, stood on the stage, engaged in a heated argument with his political competitor. Beside Avis, their other brother, Yoshi, silently watched, tension etched on his face.
Avis slammed his fist on the podium. "You have no idea what you're talking about! Your policies will ruin this nation!"
The competitor fired back, voice rising. "And yours will lead us to ruin! You're nothing but a tyrant in disguise!"
The room crackled with hostility, reporters scribbling furiously, cameras flashing. Dr. Wormsly felt his heart pound as he watched the argument escalate.
Suddenly, in a moment that seemed to stretch into eternity, Yoshi pulled out a gun from his jacket. "Enough!" he screamed, his voice filled with a mix of rage and desperation.
"No!" Dr. Wormsly shouted, but it was too late. The gunshot rang out, the sound deafening in the confined space. The bullet struck Avis's competitor, and the man crumpled to the floor.
Pandemonium erupted. Screams filled the air, and people began to scramble for the exits. Dr. Wormsly's blood ran cold as he watched the horror unfold.
In a moment of unimaginable horror, Dr.Wormsly watched as his brother Yoshi, consumed by rage and desperation, Time seemed to slow down.
Fear gripped Dr. Wormsly as he witnessed the devastating consequences of his brother's actions. The once-promising press conference was now stained with violence and tragedy. The room descended into panic, with screams and shouts echoing through the air.
(Present)
Jack was able to catch up with his team and As the team of soldiers watched the boat explode, they quickly activated the emergency raft that was conveniently attached to the vessel.
With swift teamwork, they maneuvered onto the raft and paddled away from the fiery chaos behind them.
The night was quiet, the only sounds being the gentle lapping of the waves against the sides of the raft. Time seemed to stretch on endlessly as they made their way through the vast expanse of the ocean.
They were exhausted, their bodies aching from the intense battle and their minds still reeling from the close call.
Jack shivered as he was drenched and soaked in salty water, he removed his helmet and looked inside it.
Inside it was a photo of his friends in the winter festival, the photo was slightly wet but it brought a smile to Jack and realised how far he made it in life.
Behind the photo of his friends protected another photo of his deceased family, it was faded and torn but it reminded Jack of why he joined Cordero's army.
Jack looked up and sighed he noticed a beautiful lunar rainbow above the starry sky Suddenly, a majestic sight broke the tranquility of the night.
A massive whale breached the surface and was seen of the water, its immense body soaring into the air before gracefully crashing back down. The sheer power and beauty of the creature was awe-inspiring.
As the whale breached, it sent a massive spray of water cascading towards the soldier's raft. Drops of cool water splashed onto their faces, momentarily refreshing them from the weariness that had settled over them.
It was a bittersweet reminder of the beauty that still existed amidst the chaos of war.
For a brief moment, all thoughts of conflict and danger were forgotten as the soldiers marveled at the sight before them as more whales migrated.
It was as if the whale, with its majestic presence, reminded them of the vastness and wonder of the world beyond the battlefield.
And so, with the memory of the whale's breach in their hearts, the team of soldiers continued their escape through the quiet night, united in their shared purpose and ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Cordero walked through the dimly lit halls, his footsteps echoing against the walls. The air was heavy with the scent of metal and the faint aroma of oil. As he made his way deeper into the labyrinthine corridors, the glimmer of sunlight filtered through small, arched windows, casting ethereal shadows on the rows of swords that lined the walls.
He walks through the halls of his sword collection humming a tune to himself. The morning sun seeps through the frosted windows and cast a glow on his face.
Moving further along, Cordero's eyes fell upon a longsword, its blade engraved with ancient symbols. With a gentle touch, he unsheathed the sword, feeling its weight in his hand. It was a weapon of power, a symbol of strength, and a reminder of the responsibility that came with it.
"A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy-do you know what comes next Yoshi?" He calls to Yoshi in another room.
Yoshi looks at him with tired eyes and ponders "our next mission..." Yoshi says, Cordero comes from behind him "that's right sleeping the enemy was the best idea yet, make the public unaware and our soldiers obedient and soon the world is ours just like we dreamed of."
"That was your ambition" Yoshi tells him "all I wanted was to make music with you, do you think you are taking this too far." Yoshi knew better than to not question his own family but sometimes he was left with his thoughts.
Cordero forced a smile and said "It is time for this world to be ours, once and for all," the president said menacingly.
"We have been planning this for far too long, and now we shall finally have control over this planet. But how do we do it without telling the people? They cannot know about it, otherwise they might revolt and overthrow us."
"They wouldn't dare.We must tread carefully, and keep our plans under wraps until we are ready to execute them. This is the only way we can succeed."
Yoshi thought for a moment, the money, the fame and attention was all intoxicating and he liked it but most importantly he wanted to see his older brother be successful in anything.
"I will let the people have their freedom and keep them unaware of my true intentions."
"They will live in peace and harmony while I control everything from behind the scenes" Cordero added.
Yoshi noticed the use of "I" in a lot of his speeches and talks, he raised his eyebrows, without his younger brothers help Avis wouldn't had made it that far and got what he wanted
